About this villa rental
Villa Anna is like a bit of paradise with its amazing pool and garden. It is very private being Immersed in its garden and surrounded by 3m high walls. This beautiful Villa is all covered by stones from the outside while the inside has been lovingly restored & modernized with high quality fixtures & fittings, security system, bug nets & window shutters for those all important lie-ins. The kitchen is completed with oven and microwave and diner room has a long table with fireplace all next to a comfortable lounge. Outside a big oven and a barbecue will help you to create your own special plates. The swimming pool is an endless pool, you can swim or exercise against a broad, deep current that's adjustable to any speed, stroke or ability.
An ideal retreat for those wishing to get away from it all, but near to the town of San Vito with its many restaurants, bars & entertainment.
Located 2km from San Vito with its many shops, bars, restaurants. Carovigno, Ostuni, Brindisi are all nearby. Half hour drive from major tourist resorts of Alberobello, Zoo Safari at Fasano, Castellana Grottoes, Torre Canne, Monopoli, Polignano. Taranto Archeological Museum, Local cities include Brindisi, Lecce, Mesagne & Oria. Further afield are the Sassi of Matera in Basilicata, Otranto, Santa Cesarea Terme, Gallipoli & Santa Maria di Leuca. San Domenico Golf is only 40 mins. away.
The nearest beaches are less than 8 km away - the nature reserve at Torre Guaceto, Specchiolla & Santa Sabina on the Adriatic Coast.
Porto Cesareo, Porto Selvaggio, Santa Caterina are on the Ionian coast about 50 mins. away. Shopping Malls are 15 min drive away near Mesagne & Brindisi. Local Markets are held most days of the week.

A fantastic base for exploring Puglia. We were very well looked after by Francesco. The villa is spacious and clean. The pool is huge for a private house, deep enough for diving and shallow enough for wallowing about. The property is very private and peaceful. It also had everything we needed…It was such a pleasure to have everything provided. We have stayed in so many villas where everything costs extra (like bedsheets or cleaning) or you find yourself on holiday having to shop for toilet roll and dishwasher tablets. This villa came with everything, bedsheets and towels, swimming towels, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid. Salt and pepper etc in the cupboards and some cold drinks waiting for us in the fridge. They may sound like small things, but it just made everything easy and enabled us to travel lighter.
San Vito dei Normanni was a great base for exploring Puglia. Nothing seemed very far away. Lots of places to visit Ostuni, Alberobello and a number of nearby seaside villages. At first sight San Vito and it’s neighbour Carovigno don’t seem like a natural tourist spot. However once you venture into the Centro Storico you will find it a great place to spend the evening. We enjoyed some great meals at both (at very reasonable prices!).
Oh, and there’s a lovely donkey called Michelino who lives round the corner who we enjoyed visiting 😁

We stayed 2 weeks at Villa Anna and had a wonderful and relaxing time. Francesco is a great host and was always available for any questions or assistance. The pool is amazing and is cleaned twice a week. Inside the villa is spacious, clean and very well equipped for a self catering stay. The villa is located about a 20 min walk from the centre of Vito dei Normanni where there are a good selection of bars and restaurants to choose from. Recommend LaChiazza for a great Pizza, need to book.
Places worth visiting, Ostuni (The White City), Polignano a Mare & Gallipoli. Definitely recommend.

We recently spent a wonderful week at Francesco's villa in Italy.
We would highly recommend it as a place to stay.
Francesco was very friendly, generous (gorgeous focaccia, wine and taralini there for our lunchtime arrival) and helpful. He was available on WhatsApp to answer any queries and on hand to solve any issues (when we managed to get the gate stuck!) Nothing was too much trouble.
The villa is on a large plot with an amazing swimming pool that we loved and spent hours in. Plenty of sun loungers and shade too. The barbecue was also great.
The villa was spotless and well equipped. There wasn't anything we needed that we didn't have.
The air conditioning in the main living areas was needed and fans did the trick in the bedrooms.
Well situated on the edge of San Vito die Normanni where there were supermarkets and some great restaurants.
We would happily return.
