Our family's week at Jacques's house was absolutely wonderful. The house itself is beautiful and thoughtfully equipped, offering truly breathtaking views that you could spend all day admiring. We appreciated being just a short drive from the beach, yet still enjoying the peace and quiet away from the main crowds. The option to enjoy stunning morning hikes right from the backyard and then unwind on the beach in the afternoon was perfect. Jacques is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

This was our second stay at Jacques' house which is truly special in the most incredible location. The house is completely private, surrounded by nature with sublime views of vineyards, mountains with the sea in the distance. It's a place to completely relax and recharge, and is very quiet. The very stylish house is designed for open plan outdoor/indoor living and works beautifully. There is everything you need for a comfortable, fantastic stay. Jacques is a warm and wonderful host - and always on hand for advice. We loved the peaceful location, but you are only 15 minutes from lovely St Florent with all its shops, cafes and restaurants. It really is a magical place, and we can't recommend enough. We'll be back again! Thank you Jacques!

Jacques’ place is very special - it felt like we had wandered into the set of a Condé Naste Traveller photo shoot. The location, the incredible view, the huge, beautiful and very sympathetically designed decking area really allow you to relax - a true holiday. The infinity pool is a great size - our teenage sons loved it. The pretty town of Saint Florent is very close, as is the beautiful coast of the Desert des Agriates and a good shop is very nearby. Jacques is very prompt and helpful with any questions.

The position of this beautiful, unpretentious, essencial place is second to none. The last property on the track, it feels secluded and private, yet the views to the back are nothing short of epic. We appreciate the environmental reasons for not offering AC, but in august it meant we lost sleep every night with even the powerful fans failing to keep the temperature at a reasonable level. Would be good if the owners fixed a few things (some of the doors didn’t lock on the bedrooms with outside access which added some anxiety when our kids were sleeping there) and a kitchen drawer that never wanted to close! It was pretty close to prefect so I don’t want my critique to outweigh the positives, it just felt that a few corrections would really make it really shine.
