This is a beautiful little hotel in midcoast Maine. If you want to stay in an inn that feels of the place that its located then you could not do better than this location. The building and common spaces are charming and the grounds are beautiful

The location and the restoration of the old Inn is beautiful.
Olga hosts and makes a fantastic breakfast.
The modern decoration of the common areas and it’s tranquility.
Our room, number 5 was very small but the biggest problem was the bed which was too small for two adults and very uncomfortable.
The heater’s knob on the base board was loose and didn’t allow it to function like it should so the temperature couldn’t be easily maintained.
The room has two adjoining doors so you could hear everything from the neighboring rooms.
The facilities in the bathroom weren’t up to date, the extractor made a huge noise when on, no cold water pressure for the sink and the toilet leaked water from the tank.
Also, the WiFi coverage in the room was unreliable.
