Apartment in Braga for up to 4 people, near the University of Minho and the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL).
Apartment completely refurbished in a contemporary style.
It has a double bedroom, a kitchenette with a double sofa bed, a bathroom and two balconies. There is a possibility of placing a bed for babies up to 3 years old on request.
Apartment very well equipped.
TV, wireless internet.
Refrigerator, oven, microwave, washing machine, stove, toaster, coffee maker, blender, crusher, hairdryer, among others.
The surroundings
Located near restaurants, bars, supermarkets, hospital and health center. 5 minutes from the city center, with over 2000 years of history. You can visit the city's historic sites on foot, by car, by public transport, taxi, and take a segway ride from the center.
The apartment is +/- 40 Kms from the nearest international airport and +/- 6 Kms from the train station.
Activities and attractions
The city of Braga is one of the main religious centers of the country and is known internationally for its baroque churches. Cathedral, the Congregados Church, the Porta Nova Arch, the Town Hall, the House of Riddles, the Arcade are some of the options that can be found.
You can also enjoy the fabulous gardens, lively, flower-filled streets while enjoying one of the city's many terraces.
You should also visit Bom Jesus, Sameiro and Santa Marta. Within minutes you can also enjoy the Peneda Gerês Natural Park and beautiful beaches such as Esposende, Póvoa de Varzim and Ofir.
The city has a strong folk tradition. Holy Week Celebrations, S. John the White Night and the Roman Fair draw many people to our beautiful city.

This property is close to so many great resources and is not a bad walk to the central space and old town of Braga. There are lots of college students out late at night but they were fine. We felt 100% safe at all times and loved the convenience of this location. There is no elevator so be ready to walk up stairs. It’s a small but very comfortable space and great balconies.

We wanted an apartment within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the town - that's exactly what we got!
From booking to the end of our stay Nuno was amazing. He answered all our questions quickly, was flexible when we arrived early, gave us directions for local key points as well as info on the Roman celebrations that weekend.
The apartment itself is fitted with everything you need - although with two amazing restaurants in the same street, we didn't cook much!
The supermarket in the local shopping centre is huge and packed with a lot of choice. Remember to pack some shopping bags if you are likely to carry back beer, water, wine etc.
For anyone with vertigo, there are no road crossings for the main road which needs to be crossed to reach the town. There are overhead pedestrian bridges. The first is open giving a view of passing traffic underneath but further up is an enclosed bridge. You access this bridge by a staircase just on the outside of the shopping centre past the main entrance.
There is a taxi rank here and Uber operates in Braga.
The apartment was on the 2nd floor - about four short flights of stairs. The stairwell light was out so we used the torches on our phones.
There is no lift so be mindful if you have mobility issues.
There are two small balconies - one off the bedroom and one of the kitchen/dining area for taking in the atmosphere of the street.
This was a great location for us, with a perfect host.
