Part of the Enhabit collection, The Frontenac is a professionally designed waterfront retreat, crafted to elevate the traditional Ontario cottage experience. Nestled on 2.5 acres of Canadian Shield with 700ft of private shoreline, our south-facing cabin offers total immersion in nature. Designed for restorative stays, the cabin features lofted ceilings, lake views, and a panoramic barrel sauna overlooking the bay. Perfect for small gatherings of family and friends.

Convenience: On-site Washer/Dryer (available upon request) and private parking for 6+ vehicles with easy-access turnaround.
The Property
Total Immersion: 2.5 acres of raw forest on the Canadian Shield, providing total privacy near Frontenac Provincial Park.
Wildlife Observation: Abundant nature at your doorstep, with frequent sightings of Deer, Beavers, Mink, and Herons.
All-Day Sunlight: South-facing orientation ensures maximum natural light on the wrap-around decks and hammocks.
The Wellness Sanctuary: A signature Panoramic Barrel Sauna offering deep-heat restoration with floor-to-ceiling views of the lake and forest.
Wrap Around Porch: Complete with Muskoka chairs and a hammock for lounging
Outdoor Culinary: Dedicated patio and BBQ station, optimized for lakeside dining and sunset gatherings.
The Water
Immediate Access: The cabin is situated just 30ft from the shoreline of Thirty Island Lake.
700ft Private Waterfront: Expansive, private shoreline for exclusive guest use.
Deep Water Dock: Private dock with Muskoka chairs and a secure ladder for swimming and non-motorized boat access.
The Adventure Fleet: Complimentary use of Canoe, Kayak, and Stand-Up Paddle Boards (SUPs).
Angler’s Paradise: Incredible fishing conditions in a private bay, perfect for bass and pike enthusiasts.
Other details to note:
To preserve the serenity of the setting, we cannot accommodate professional events, parties, fireworks, or outdoor music after dark.
Pet Fee: $100 for a maximum of two dogs under 35 pounds. (As with all rural Ontario, we recommend not letting dogs off leash if you are unfamiliar with ticks in wooded areas).
If bringing multiple or larger dogs, please send us a request prior to arrival.
We unfortunately cannot accommodate cats due to an allergy.
Watercraft Use
If you would like to use the watercraft, please do so with adult supervision, and ensure life jackets are always used, and boat life safety canister is present in kayak or canoe.
Road Maintenance
Please note that the property is in a rural setting and while the road is maintained in the winter with a plow, we are not the only client of the plow company, and as such cannot guarantee the exact timing of plowing runs. We highly recommend winter tires and awd. While most guests have no issues, we will not be responsible if any drivers get stuck or are unfamiliar with how to handle snow covered roads.

This cottage is great. Down a gravel road and away from the highway so very little traffic passes by. Lake was fabulous for swimming. Loved the deck at the cottage overlooking the lake. Loved star gazing at night

Fantastic home - too nice to be called a "cottage" - by the lake was a pleasure to stay in. My kids and I enjoyed a full week here and were left wanting more...

Great cottage and excellent privacy. We enjoyed the quiet location and the relaxing atmosphere. I really enjoyed paddleboarding around the Bay. The view was great and we got several visits from loons which we enjoyed. I would stay there again.
