Quiet country setting 20 minutes from Gainesville, Florida. 30 minutes from Ocala, Florida. 15 minutes to HITS. 10 minutes to Williston. 30 minutes to Dunnellon.

The cottage is roomy and sleeps 4-8. Two queen beds in each bedroom with plush mattresses. Plenty of parking. Lots of star gazing.

We have an alarm system we do not activate when we have guests. Too many false alarms. The pad is on the wall of the first bedroom. Please do not touch or the alarm may go off. We do not want you disturbed.
Pets allowed with fee per stay.
We keep the small gate locked between our house and the cottage not to be unfriendly but to protect our dogs from escaping to the road.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this home. It had everything that we might need and then some. The beds were comfy, and the entire house just made us feel at home. Hopefully we'll be able to stay there soon

With family living 10 minutes away in Williston we found this place to be the perfect retreat for getting away and relaxing after a long and hectic day!At first it seemed odd walking into a bedroom/sitting area from the front door but it actually worked quite well with a dining room separating the two bedrooms. We found the place very roomy with the exception of the kitchen which is quite small but certainly workable and has all that is needed. The small touches of coffee, muffins, OJ, cereal, milk and wonderful treats provided by our host were greatly appreciated and saved us a trip to a grocery store!The decor made it feel so warm and cozy! Original wood floors with soft rugs everywhere, pictures on all the walls and plaques with encouraging words made it interesting to simply study and enjoy. Morning coffee in the chairs by the front door gave me the perfect way to start my day.The cottage sits just off of a very quiet and beautiful country road and faces the woods which offers peaceful privacy and serenity.I would love to stay in this cottage again and highly recommend it. The pictures on the site simply do not do it justice!

This quaint, quiet cabin is a gem of a find. Marylee and Ken have created a safe, clean, & personalized experience that is top notch. It is stocked with all the essentials and Marylee is very responsive and helpful. We had such a fun time playing games and visited Devil’s Den and the gardens that are within a short driving distance. We also enjoyed Homestead, an outdoor venue with food, live music, games, shops, and spirits, just a short drive away. You’ll be glad to find this hidden cabin. We will definitely be booking again when in the area!
