About this apartment rental
This is a fabulous three bedroom condominium in the Sailmaker community. The unit is an upper floor unit in building 7 which has perfect views over the dunes to the ocean. There are three full bathrooms and the unit has been fully remodeled with travertine floors, granite counters, travertine showers, new carpet, new bedding & new linens to name just a few luxuries.
The master bedroom is upstairs with a spectacular view to the beach and has a private bathroom and a king bed. The upstairs guest bedroom has a private bathroom and a bunk bed (twin over full with twin trundle). The 1st floor guest bedroom has a queen bed and there is a full bathroom on the 1st floor across the hall from the bedroom.
The large back porch is great place to relax and enjoy spectacular sunrises or afternoon cocktails overlooking the beach. The unit has a fully stocked kitchen and large dinning room table which make eating in a joy.
It is a short walk over the dunes for a fun day at the beach. The community has a nice pool tucked into the coastal oaks that is a wonderful place to relax and the complex has a large 2 acre lawn overlooking the beach for the kids to run around and enjoy.
Sailmaker is located about 1/2 mile South of the Ritz Carlton & About 1.5 miles North of the Omni Resort. Both are great destinations with a variety of restaurants, shopping, golf, full spa services, and a variety of other activities. Downtown Fernandina is only 10 minutes away and is another great place for food and fun.
Some other favorite places / activities are Fort Clinch State Park, Kayak Amelia, Kingsley Plantation and the Cumberland Island National Seashore.

When family entered the condo they were met with 51 degree temps inside. Would be nice for management to factor weather conditions and make sure heat is on when necessary. Also of concern was a shower head in the second bathroom coated with mold. No one in our family took a shower in this bathroom during the visit.
Was the view as advertised? Indeed it was! Gorgeous! With more attention to cleanliness and comfort this condo would have had the potential to receive e a 5 star rating.
