This a convenient spot for people who want to get outside of the airport on our way to Western/south western Sicily! Niccolo was a thoughtful host, communicated ahead of time, and met us at a spot that was easy to find, so he could lead us to lead us to the house. I hadn’t driven in Italy before, so I had trouble getting the car into reverse, but Niccolò helped by giving me ‘driving lessons’ on the spot (hint: pull up on the gear shift to put it into reverse). He also gave us a list of Supermarkets in the area and made sure we were comfortable! Really appreciate all he did- and of course loved the views from his house during the day & especially at sunset!

My adult children, and wife and I had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Nicolo's retreat overlooking the beautiful Castellemmare del Golfo. We returned to my home town of Borgetto for a wedding. Nicolo was very responsive and took great care in ensuring we had everything we needed. He was kind to see that we had plenty of fresh fruit and breakfast goodies upon our arrival. The home is a traditional and comfortable with an expansive terrace to take in beautiful sunsets. The home is located in quiet corner of Sicily but is close to a variety of tourist sites: Palermo city center, Monreale, Mondello, Scopello, Segesta, and the archeological site of Monte Jato.

All the furniture needs to be replaced and the shrubbery on the patio needs trimming back. My sisters bathroom had a broken toilet seat but never got fixed after the owner said someone would fix it.
