Originally an artist’s studio, we’ve lovingly restored this gem with a primo renovation featuring premium plumbing fixtures, granite countertops, custom-tiled showers, solid wood doors and cabinets, and high-end finishes throughout—blending modern upgrades with its original cypress and terrazzo details for a romantic, HGTV-worthy vibe that’s unlike any other rental on the Key.

The property was exactly as advertised. It was so clean, you couldn’t tell anyone else had stayed there. Everything is new and very comfortable.The host, Scott, was easy to get in touch with and very helpful with any questions.The property is only a few steps from the beach and in a quiet and uncrowded area.Our overall experience was excellent and we highly recommend staying there!!Great sunsets as well!

Cute very small cottage near the water Kitchen was well supplied there is a home some what attached to the back of the cottage so privacy is an issue if some one is staying in the other property we had to keep the blind shut or they could see directly into the bedroom and people walking by can see in the front The house is on an access street to the beach that is used a lot so when sitting out side people walking to the beach are very close to the sitting area

Check in was delayed until 5:30pm. I reached out to the host multiple times via text and vrbo message without response. Finally a neighbor walked by & talked to us, & called the host. The host then called me & said he didn’t know where his cleaning person was or what happened. The host called the neighbor back & then the neighbor told us he was going to be the cleaning lady for the day (mind you he was drinking & shirtless, not who you’d hope would clean the place you’re staying). We had to go down to a bar & wait for him to clean, & then it sounds like a cleaning person did finally show up. Had the neighbor not asked us if we were checking in when he walked by, I don’t know when we would have heard from the host. We were exhausted from traveling & just wanted to unpack and take a nap but we had to figure all this out and wait. The bed is a double, not a queen, if that matters to anyone. The house is also attached to another house on the lot & the people renting the other house walked right in front of our front door with lots of windows to get to their house. It didn’t feel very private. My husband was changing & walked into the living room to find his swim trunks as a few kids walked by to get to the other house & they definitely saw him naked. Location was great. At the very least we should’ve been offered a discount for the issues with check-in. Frustrating would be an understatement.
