One owner no dog on lead shouting at it ,work men talking loudly till 1 o’clock in the morning

Friendly staff, helpful.

Drinks expensive in the club house. No tablets for dishwasher, no washing up bowl or plug for the sink. Dog mess outside of chalet. Cleaner cleaned the step to the chalet after removing some from the step.

Cold

It was really cold the heating wasn’t merely hot enough couldn’t even dry a jacket on a radiator over night. Waking up shivering for the week wasn’t fun. The shower also leaked every time had a shower results floor full of water . Lot of the sealent has come away the shower walls and tray.

It was convenient to go for coastal walks and the bus stop at the main entrance made it easy to get into town within 10 to 15 minutes although it doesn't take too long to walk into town.

The site is excellent although as you drive into St Mary's road the building on the left has metal fences in the courtyard bit. It doesn't look particularly inviting as you enter the road. I doubt it is anything the site can control and despite that the site is lovely.

The property was located by all of the facilities

The decking hadn’t been cleaned and the blinds etc were very dusty/dirty. When we went there was a limited menu and breakfast wasn’t available on the Saturday. They have changed the amusement arcade so that everything is a pound!

Unhappy and unsafe they rather let children go practice outside hotel at night

We booked as group for conference for our young people. They needed a space to practice for next day presentation. We normally do this yearly and booked every time at Holiday Inn without issue staff are usually accommodating, however with this place they different they didn’t let our young people use space at evening even it is not in used, so kids are practicing outside hotel at night in cold weather. Imagine we book more than 10 room of family. We’re around 40 people there.

Short break away

South bay is in a excellent location. There are some lovely walks near by and in easy reach of Brixham centre .

Drinks a little expensive in the club house . No healthy options on the food menu in the restaurant . Lots of weeds around the caravan G69. Which doesn't make the caravan look very inviting plus other caravans had weeds around

It was some where to stay

Cleanliness in the bathroom. No smoking 🚭 labels I was up graded without being informed prior to my visit as I called to ask previously for both double beds ie main bed & the double bed in the lounge for linen instead was given a 3 bed that would have been good for a family but not 2 adults not parteners which I did state when I called .so not impressed.

The clientele on site We went over to the bar Friday night and was frightened and appalled by the behaviour of a small group of guest … The women’s language was threatening and aggressive and could not understand why they were not removed from the premises as children were in the club and as adults we found it upsetting Did not visit again as did not want to experience such shocking behaviour… shame as we enjoy a friendly game of bingo

We stayed at the chalets, they are old and need refurbishment. Also need proper cleaning . everything was sticky, dirty mirrors, windows , old and uncomfortable beds. . Not welcoming .

A very good place for a reasonably priced holiday

Lovely location high up looking down to Brixham. Great conservation with mature trees, wild flowers in hedgerows, access to sea and cliff paths. Lovely welcoming staff, well equipped and very clean and cosy caravans.

The weather was bad, rain so many of the things we hoped to do were not feasible. I can imagine coming for another stay with better weather and thoroughly enjoying ourselves.

In a great location, caravan was clean, staff were friendly.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, There isn't enough room in the shower room to use the toilet properly,if the cupboard wasn't under the sink it would be better. The shower curtain wasn't great so water went everywhere. . Entertainment wasnt great same thing every night.

Unfortunately the evening entertainment brought the standard down for the site. The entertainment staff look like they really don't want to be there, don't really make any effort with the kids. Shame really

The caravan was beautiful, the layout was perfect, the staff were friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We also loved the location of the caravan, many thanks for a lovely holiday, we will definitely come again 😊 👍

Loved the caravan but wouldn’t stay again as not enough for the children to do.

The caravan was clean and very comfortable for the four of us.

Not a lot on the park for children to do. Only one trip wire really and the crazy golf was so bumpy with dips and holes .Best thing was swimming but then you had to prebook the day before and could only swim for three quarters of an hour.Went for a some food in the club room and placed the order. Waited and waited and could see people who came in after us had been served. Went to the counter,they had lost our food order so had to wait again till it was cooked Food. wasn’t that warm. .Had to clear a table before we sat down as well as it was full of dirty plates.Entertainment wasn’t really good.A lot of bingo every night.Shame really because the site is lovely,just not enough for children to do. All the staff on the site were lovely and very helpful in reception.Just think the kids play area needs updating .
