Perfect location for visiting Kaprun and surrounding areas

Spacious apartment with two bathrooms and a lounge. Small kitchen but we eat out at the amazing Austrian restaurants. Parking outside.

Disappointing given that we paid for 2 bedrooms and could only use 1.

Location

2nd room had no bedding and towels despite requesting apartment for 3 people. As a result, our son had to sleep in our room. Contacted hosts and would have expected some sort of refund but heard nothing.

we enjoined our stay in Kaprun, the property was wonderful and most of the facilities are nearby

The location and cleanest of the property and the well organized arrangements

we have some points to take then in consideration: there is not soap holder in the shower area of the toilet, one iron is enough for all the flats, fans should be avail in the rooms in hot weather

Exceptional

The location is perfect for visiting the Glacier (Kitzsteinhorn) and also walking to/from downtown Kaprun (should be about a 10'-15' walk). The bus stop is just around the corner and the street is flat. All was clean and tidy, the view is great and it's a quiet neighborhood. In general, a warm, cozy apartment which makes you feel comfortable. We 've read older comments about collecting the keys from another place, but this was not now the case (November 2022); you get them at the property itself, following very simple instructions emailed by the hosts.

A few more everyday consumables (e.g. trash bags, t-paper, detergent etc) would help, but there was nothing missing.

to pick the key from another town. driving 1000 klm and then to pick the key from another town’s center, park theren unpark, drive, unload your things, skis erc, well is not the most pleasant start of your stay.

Location great balance, convenient, parking. Everything needed is within walking distance. Nice view of Kitzsteinhorn. Kaprun was great & peaceful / quiet. Local bus pass / free public transport in summer is fantastic.

Everything is very new. Furniture and design is very stylish, really liked that. Amazing view and location is not bad (close to supermarket and very pretty gorge). Little yard is a nice extra.

Price model not clear, charges extra for linen (never experienced that before), not really convenient to pick up the keys in another city first (like 15 min drive). Also, for the price the place would need some additional fixes (lose faucet, water pressure terrible, sauna did not work)

Value for money, good view

The property has an amazing view, which is unbeatable. Good size with separate living room and bedroom.

Upon arrival the host asked us to pay by cash or bank card rather than credit card to evade paying fees to VISA. This was not pleasant, since the apartment was booked via credit card. He was really pushy about this subject. The apartment itself was OK but the faucets in the kitchen and the bathroom were wobbly, there is practically no water pressure for the shower and the cleaning could be more thorough. Additionally the kettle was broken. All in all it’s decent value for money but I would opt out of returning to the same place again.

Im großen und ganzen ist die Unterkunft ansprechend, allerdings mit gewissen Mängeln. Die Lage ist gut und ruhig obwohl es direkt an einer Straße liegt. Das Personal - überwiegend telefonisch, da keine Rezeption o.ä. - ist nett und hilfsbereit.

Wie voran von andere Mietern schon beschrieben zu wenig Unterbringungsmöglichkeiten im Badezimmer. Die Schlafcouch ist nicht für größere Personen geeignet. Matratzen sehr dünn, da gibt es sicherlich modernere bessere Modelle am Markt. Zu Hauptstoßzeiten war meist kein warmes wenn überhaupt lauwarmes Wasser zum Duschen vorhanden. Der 2-Plattenherd ist etwas unzweckmäßig wenn man sich selber versorgen möchte.

Gemütliche Unterkunft in toller Lage

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und sauber, die Betten sehr bequem und Lage und Blick auf die Berge genial. Die Bushaltestelle für den Skibus ist in 5 Minuten zu erreichen, auch Restaurants sind in Gehnähe. Auch die Sauna im Keller ist sehr schön und zu empfehlen. Der Check-In und Check-Out waren sehr unkompliziert.

Ein bisschen mehr Küchenausstattung an Tellern und Besteck wäre toll und auch vor allem im Bad und Flur Ablage- und Aufhängemöglichkeiten hilfreich. Auch Handtücher und Bademäntel für die Sauna haben wir vermisst.

Insgesamt war es für den Preis in Ordnung aber nicht ganz zufriedenstellend.

Die Lage war gut, es war sauber, und es war gut geregelt mit dem Service.

Dass es nur eine Karte für unser Apartment gab. Unsere Wohnung war für 6 Personen schon klein, zu wenig Platz um sich mal hin zu setzen zusammen. Es hat an Ausstattung in der Küche gefehlt.
