Casa Udala is a luxury family apartment located in the 'Al Andalus Residencial' gated complex located on the first floor with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, lounge/diner and a balcony. The master bedroom has a double bed with an en-suite. The second bedroom has 2 single beds with the bathroom opposite the room. The apartment has air-conditioning/heating in the lounge and the bedrooms. The outdoor pool is open from June to September and the indoor pool is available all year round. The complex also offers a floodlit padel court, and a small children's play area. Each apartment has a private parking space within the complex.

The apartment complex was built in 2006 and even though it is a relatively new building there are many traditional features incorporated including beautiful coloured tiles on the external stairs leading to the apartment. The buildings are no higher than three floors and are evenly spread out throughout the complex.

Take a leisurely stroll around the gardens where you can enjoy the walkways surrounded by beautiful plants with bright blooms. Take a seat on one of the many benches near the fountains and watch the world go by.

There is a supermarket just a 2 minute walk from the complex offering everything you need for your holiday. Also within walking distance is the 'Feliz Gnome' restaurant offering a typical Spanish Menu del dia for €16 and cooked to order paella. There is also a tapas bar too located just outside the complex.

The beach of Playas de Vera and Puerto Rey are just a 5 minute drive, where you can enjoy award winning beaches that stretch for over 7km. To the north is the famous naturist resort and beach, one of the largest in the world. To the south are the beaches of Garrucha and Mojacar. Garrucha is a small resort which still retains its charm as a lively fishing town. Further south is the larger tourist resort of Mojacar, with vast beaches, larger hotels and an array of restaurants to choose from. Also is Mojacar Pueblo a typical whitewashed Andalucian village located above sea level. It offers many restaurants and bars and boutique shops in it's winding streets.

Vera Playa is also home to a large water park, which provides fun for all the family, with lots of rides, slides, swimming pools, play areas and restaurants.

Vera Playa enjoys a perfect all-year round Mediterranean climate, as does the whole of the Costa Almeria. In the sub-tropical environment temperatures rarely fall below 18ºC. During the summer months the temperature rises above 30ºC and July and August can get much hotter, dropping again around mid-September to a milder, but still warm and enjoyable 23ºC-27ºC degrees. The winters are mild and mostly dry, although the winter evenings can get chilly.

The apartment is easily reached from airports at Almeria or Murcia San Javier, and is ideal for a family holiday, a relaxing break or as a base for exploring the area. With local watersports facilities, horse riding and go-karting, plus three 18-hole golf courses within 10km, there is plenty nearby for the active holidaymaker.

The resort is well-situated just 13 kms from the Autovia del Mediterraneo (Mediterranean motorway) and is easily accessible from the local airports
