Clean, spacious flat, well equipped.
The lift functions only after putting in 5 cents, which was a problem sometimes if you didn't have change on you.

The location is perfect. In a quiet area, right next to a big Supermarket and 5 minutes away from train station that leads to the city center. The apartment has all comodities, needed for a good stay, and the presence of a washing machine causes extra convenience.
I reccomend the bed in one of the bedrooms to be raplaced with a new one (the mattress was not very convenient for a good sleep). The door of the frieser part of the refrigerator was not properly closed (it was not functioning) and the freezer became one piece of ice.

This is a good place to visit and explore Naples if you are traveling by car. You have your own parking space in an internal secured car park. The host provides you with a remote control for the external door to the courtyard of the unit. Right down the block and a very well stocked grocery store. About 500 m, 7-8 min walk is the Piave stop, from where if you take the train after only one stop and 5 minutes you get off in the center of Naples at the Montesanto stop. The apartment itself is full of memories… there are lot of items and artefacts from the past. The apartment is large and most importantly, both bedrooms have air conditioning - something very important for Naples in the summer. However, there is none in the living room. There are two bathrooms and two toilets. The apartment is on the third floor but has an elevator. The strange thing is that in order to use it, you have to drop a 5 or 10 cent coin into it! Christian (the host) recommended us one of the pizzerias in the neighborhood - “Pizzeria Porzio”! This is not one of the tourist spots and the customers are only local people. However, there we were lucky enough to eat perhaps the tastiest pizzas ever! Times tastier than other vaunted and famous pizzerias located in the center of Naples. If you are a guest of this apartment - don't miss it! We went without a reservation and were lucky, but almost all visitors had a reservation. So make sure you make a reservation.
The freezer in the fridge had probably not been defrosted in years. Its door was very difficult to close due to being completely encased in ice and practically unusable.

It was a huge apartment, very comfortable and authentic looking. We arrived by car and there was a private parking place for us. The area was friendly (I especially liked the tennis club I could see right in front of the balcony) and the city center was easy to reach with public transport in 20 minutes. There is a huge supermarket right next to the house, convenient for shopping food. Our host was very responsive and flexible about our arrival.
Since the weather outside was chilly, in some parts of the apartment I felt cold. But in the bedrooms there was heating.
