We stayed in July 2025, and I have all great things to say! The location is perfect, 10 minute walk to the beach. Reading reviews can be scary, and so I went in with an open mind. The interior and decorations were absolutely fine! Who cares about mismatched pillows and too many pool chairs? Everything was beachy and super clean, smelled great! The kitchen was well stocked. Four bedrooms were perfect for my family of 7. My boys fished off the dock and rented bikes less than a mile away. The pool....AWESOME! If you have little kids, the big area to wade in was absolutely perfect, but yet had a deep end for the big kids to have their fun. The awning to sit in the shade was where we all sat every morning for coffee. The bay view is breathtaking, and we couldn't get enough. The temperature in the house was perfect. In fact, we were always cold. We didn't need to heat the pool, being in July, and the water was always great! There were pool toys, and we even left our rafts for the next group:) The neighbors were very nice and even brought us some beer to apologize for the tree trimming that was going on which was only for a couple hours. The grill is old, and to get it to light, we had to use a lighter, but then it worked just fine! Plenty of beach towels in the laundry room. We will be absolutely be booking this house again! I am a picky vacationer, and this house was A+ for our group!

This was our first stay in the area, as we were in town for a graduation. First the positives: The layout of the home is fine. The pool, dock, and view were wonderful. HOWEVER, the entire contents of the home and pool deck needs to be thrown to the curb and start fresh with nice things! The pool deck was filled and crammed with 20+ chairs that did not match, were sun damaged, and covered in 2 or 3 worn out cushions on top of each other. Pictures of the pool area did NOT accurately depict what it is actually like. There was no umbrella and matching chairs. There were no beach chairs or things for us to use. Pictures do not show the extremely worn out furniture with nasty cushions lined up against the fence.
SIMILARLY, the furniture inside did not match, there were 10+ throw pillows scattered about that were all different colors and designs. There was even outdoor furniture inside!! The couch was flat and HORRIBLY uncomfortable.
My daughter and her husband were going to leave and go somewhere else it’s that bad! I had to convince them to stay. I wish I could post pictures to prove what I’m saying.
I have a feeling the owners don’t give a crap about reviews or the aesthetic of their properties.
I learned a HUGE lesson when booking this home…I have only rented one other and fortunately did not have the same experience. My daughter will never let me be in charge of booking a vacation rental again!
This home was not worth the $$.
