We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the mill house. At our arrival, we were greeted by Henrique and he filled us in on some of the fascinating history of the home. The mill house was warmly decorated, comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed great day trips in the area, but always came home to our peaceful quinta. We were met with the scent of orange blossoms, took advantage of the wonderful meal delivered to our door, walked through the vineyard, and shared a glass of Port next to the river. Thank you for sharing your beatifiul home!

This is a great place to stay. Close enough to Lamego for quick visits and far enough away to relax and enjoy the area, view and sound of the river outside your window. Henrique and Francesca were great hosts, living just above us. Their brand new baby boy is a wonderful blessing for them. Unit is close to grocery shopping and all the area in the Northern part of Portugal. Enjoyed very much.

Quel lieu merveilleux que cet ancien moulin restauré et meublé avec goût au bord d'une rivière !
Tout y est pour que vous passiez un moment très agréable au calme. L'accueil de Francisca et de sa maman est formidable, même si l'échange a dû se faire en anglais.
Lamego est à 7 km et on y trouve restaurants, commerces, ... La prise d'autoroute, bien qu'escarpée est proche et permet de découvrir les environs, sur les conseils avisés de Francisca.
Dommage que nous n'ayons pu en profiter que deux nuits ! Une adresse où l'on rêve de revenir pour un plus long séjour !

Die alte Mühle ist ein sehr schön hergerichtetes Ferienhäuschen für 2 Personen, in dem es alles gibt, was man so braucht. Auch die Vermieter sind total nett und hilfsbereit, wir wurden sehr freundlich Empfangen!
Das Gelände der Farm und die "Ländereien" drum herum sind toll und weitläufig, vor allem die gegenüberliegende Klosterruine hat es uns angetan... Das Gebiet lohnt sich für Wanderungen (Lalim - Lazarim).
Mit dem Auto hat man es gar nicht weit in etwas größere Orte wie Lamego, in denen es einige große Supermärkte und andere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, aber auch kulturelle Angebote gibt.
