The apartment is brand new, everything is spotless and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you may wish for. The only thing that was not perfect for us was the shower, it is not made for people who are taller than 1,90m but will work fine for everyone else. The house is right by the water, but there is no beach or walking trail. We enjoyed our stay in the quiet rural area very much and would go back there for more quiet days. The owners have a huge dog who will probably greet you when you arrive - don't be scared, he is very friendly.

We are a young couple (no children) and booked our holiday at the very last minute, so we did not know exactly what to expect from the apartment and surrounding area. We were pleasantly surprised in all aspects. The apartment has all the facilities and luxury you could wish for. We could not think of anything missing, nor could we discover any shortcomings. Everything is in perfect working order. The apartment is part of a farm, where the owners also have their residence. They were very friendly and welcoming people who took great care in making our vacation perfect. The farm is located in a rural area, close to the National Park Thy and the sea. If you like hiking or cycling in the nice dune landscape of the park, then this is the perfect place to stay. While it does not have our primary interest, you can also spend long days at the beach. Don't expect any major cities in close vicinity. The nearest "city" is Thisted. Aalborg is at one hour driving and definitely worth a visit. In conclusion; if you like hiking or cycling in the dunes, spending time at the beach, go to this apartment!

Thanks for a very relaxed stay in the countryside. The appartment is very beautiful, sunny and clean. We got the impression it is quite new. Its view on the limfjord is breathtaking. The landlords also live on the property, they're very laid-back and welcoming. If you want to go to the beach (Nort Sea) and you're not fond of too many people there, try Lyngby! It's a broad beach with almost nobody there! To cut a long story short: If you like the quietness and beauty of the Danish countryside, we strongly recommend this appartment to you!

Grosszügige, sehr gut eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, von der aus man viele interessante Ziele in 20-30 min. erreicht. Das Anwesen liegt direkt am Fjord, der sich z.B. für Paddeltouren hervorragend eignet. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich.

Die Umgebung ist im Nationalpark Thy ist traumhaft: Schöne Sandstrände, gute Wanderrouten und der Limfjord direkt vor der Haustür, über dem man vom Schlafzimmer aus die Sonne aufgehen sehen kann. Die Ferienwohnung ist vom Feinsten, die Gastgeber ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Die Ferienwohnung ist wirklich schön eingerichtet, es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Lage am Fjord ist idyllisch und malerisch, allerdings haben wir nur einen ausgedehnten Spaziergang entlang des Ufers gemacht, die restlichen Tage waren wir immer mit dem Auto auf Tagesausflügen unterwegs. Die meisten Ziele, die wir angesteuert haben, waren 20 bis 30 Autominuten entfernt (Vorupør können wirklich empfehlen!). Ein Supermarkt ist 5 Autominuten entfernt. Das Appartement ist allerdings für kleine Kinder/ Babys bedingt geeignet. Bei der Reservierung vor einigen Monaten habe ich nicht darüber nachgedacht, dass mein jetzt 11 Monate alter Sohn diesen Entdeckerdrang an den Tag legen wird. Am ersten Tag angekommen hat er gleich seine ersten Schritte gemacht und wollte sofort die Treppe hinauf klettern. Auch im oberen Bereich zum Schlafen wollte er morgens nach dem Aufwachen sofort die Treppe hinunter krabbeln bzw. ist zu dem offenen Geländer hin. Kurz gesagt: die Treppe ist für Krabbelkinder und ungeübte Läufer ungeeignet. Wir haben uns damit beholfen, sie mit Möbelstücken zu verstellen ^^ Aber bis auf den einen Punkt gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Wir waren ansonsten rundum zufrieden und können die Ferienwohnung nur empfehlen :)

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit auf dem Hof „Strandgaarden“. Es ist wunderschön dort, unglaublich idyllisch und friedlich. Auf der einen Seite der Fjord und auf der anderen Seite Weizenfelder soweit das Auge reicht. Freundliche, hilfsbereite Vermieter und ein süßer Hund. Die Wohnung ist toll und wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt. Vielen herzlichen Dank - wir kommen bestimmt wieder ;-)

Vi har haft en skøn uge i denne dejlige lejlighed, som ligger helt fantastisk, tæt ved vand, med masser af idyl og fred og ro, men alligevel i kort afstand fra indkøb og Vesterhav. Pæn, ren og hyggelig, og et sødt og gæstfri værtspar som sammen med deres stille og fredelige hunde tog godt i mod os. Alt fungerede, køleskabet var koldt og bruseren var varm. Bevares, det krævede lidt finjustering at blive venner med den varme hane i bruseren, men det blev aldrig et problem. Det kan kun anbefales at tage ophold på Strandgården, som i øvrigt ligger i fin cykelafstand fra Aarhus ;-) . Vi kommer gerne igen.
