About this house rental
Exceptional estate from the 16th Century, which originally served the supply of the castle of Aujac. In this spacious unit there are 1 bathroom and a separate toilet, 2 bedrooms and on a gallery still 2Schlafgelegenheiten (1,8mx0,80m). A living room and a terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob, electric oven, large fridge and dishwasher.
The pool is a bit below the house. Recreation for individualists and nature lovers. The sights of the Ardeche are worth a visit, the Cévennes invite to hikes and swimming in the crystal clear Cèze.
During the renovation of the house as much as possible of the old building fabric was preserved as beamed ceilings, the stone floor in the kitchen and the visible old stone walls.
You should feel well, the apartment with terrace, kitchen and bathroom you have for yourself. The garden (about 8000 m2) and the pool are available to guests of the 2 Gites and us, there is enough space. The pool is about 5x10m and equipped with salt electrolysis.

We were very positively surprised with the beautiful location, pool, terraces, view, garden and very nice owner. Small bar/restaurant in walking distance for lunch or dinner. Would definitely come back.

Wir haben einen schönen Urlaub in Aujac verbracht. Die anderen Ferienwohnungen waren nicht vermietet, so dass wir auf dem riesigen Grundstück alleine waren. Das historische Anwesen hat viel Charme, die Einrichtung ist einfach, es ist aber alles Wesentliche da. Der Pool ist sehr schön, auch wenn wir ihn zur Ostersaison nur kurz genutzt haben. Die Lage in Aujac ist etwas abgelegen (Bäcker, Supermarkt ca. 20min Fahrt), dafür aber mit traumhaften Ausblick, sehr ruhig gelegen. Kontakt zur Hausverwaltung war sehr angenehm und reaktiv.

Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal in den Cevennen und wurden auch diesmal nicht enttäuscht. Das Anwesen von Sylvia und Hartmut ist wundervoll gelegen am Rande des kleinen Ortes, mit zahlreichen Wander- und Velorouten in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben, mit schönen und sauberen Zimmern und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist fantastisch und der Pool wunderbar gelegen.
Unserem Wunsch nach einem Urlaub “away from it all” wurde voll entsprochen. Wer die Region kennt weiss, dass ein Auto unbedingt erforderlich ist für Einkäufe und Restaurantbesuche, die in der Nachsaison tatsächlich eine kleine Herausforderung darstellten.
Die Gastfreundschaft der Vermieter war ein zusätzliches Highlight und wir können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.
