About this apartment rental

Most suitable for up to 2 couples or a family. This comfortable apartment is nestled at the heart of the large snowy bowl, Flaine. The view from the apartment is magnificent, and there is a south facing balcony from which to enjoy it.

The apartment is conveniently located on the same level as the entrance of the Sirius building in Flaine Forêt, it is walking distance from a nursery slope, which links into Flaine and the wider Grand Massif. Next door is a small shopping area, including a pub/restaurant, supermarket, bakery, deli, and 2 snowsport rental shops. As well as a pedestrian lift to Flaine Forum.

The apartment has a separate bedroom with an IKEA day bed which pulls out to make a comfortable double bed. There are also underbed drawers and a double wardrobe. Between the bedroom and the living area there are bunk beds in a wide hallway/alcove with underbed drawers. The studio style living space has a small but well equipped kitchen area (includes dishwasher), extendable dining table and chairs, a spacious sofa, and TV (with satellite). The bathroom has a bath and sink (with built in cupboard) and there is a separate WC. There is also a small ski locker by the entrance to the building.

Linen and towels are an additional cost.

Flaine is situated between Geneva and Chamonix Mont-Blanc, and has excellent transport links with Geneva Airport. Alternatively, Flaine is a days drive or train ride from the UK.

Small but cosy apartment within easy reach of the slopes and local amenities. I stayed on my own but it'd be perfect for families too and has everything you need for a ski holiday at a more than reasonable price. Heather (the host) responds very quickly to messages and was very helpful. Highly recommended.

Clean appartment very close to the Flaine Forum shuttle lift and a small shopping center. The ski bus stopps 100m outside the house. 400m walking to the skilifts. Very nice host, easy to get in contact with.Altogether goid value for your money.

Small but well laid out apartment in Flaine Forêt. Great location next door to the local facilities which includes a small Spar supermarket and a nice bakery. There is also an escalator down to the main Flaine resort in the same building. Apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for basic self catering and a nice selection of games, tv etc as well as storage for skis. The host Heather was incredibly helpful and easy to deal with. Note linen and towels have to be arranged separately which was straightforward - common with many French properties. Extremely good value for a location next to the best ski slopes.

We found this apartment has everything you need for a comfortable ski holiday. The view from the balcony is beautiful - tree lined mountain sides and slopes. The shops and ski hire were very close. Walking to the slopes is a bit further but easily doable - we chose to walk over the ski bus. Heather, the apartment owner, is very happy to help and quick to respond if you need any advice. We had a great stay here and are looking at booking this apartment again!

From beginning to end the rental process was easy and Heather was very quick to respond to any queries we had. The location of the property is ideal, close to the slopes, shops, bus etc. First time visiting Flaine and won't be the last, lovely resort!

We enjoyed our stay at Siruis very much. We are a family of 6 adults and the apartment was fine for us. The sliding door across lounge makes 3 separate areas for sleeping. Back bedroom bed is a good size with large bed. Apartment is very handy to the slopes and close to Spar, bars and ski-hire. We walked to the slopes but the frequent navette stops outside if wished. After skiing get off navette at first stop in carpark and walk down path to avoid doing full circuit of resort. Key pick up and return was easy and we parked in car park above the apartment. We drove and stored our clothes in plastic underbed boxes under the bunk and above large wardrobe. Lots of hooks in hall for hanging ski kit. Very hot water. Lovely view. Hope to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay here last week. Family of 3. Plenty of room for us - bigger than many ski apartments we have stayed in. And the balcony is great. The apartments are quiet, ski lockers are great and it's in a brilliant location for ESF Flaine Foret ski school - less than 10 minutes walk from door to meeting point. Bakery next door for breakfast too! Key pick-up was easy enough, and we were grateful to be able to leave our bags at the property services for free on Saturday so we could keep skiiing after check out. One thing to be aware of is that the hot water in the flat is HOT - obviously a good thing but something to be aware of when turning on the tap. We recommend Flaine and we'd definitely stay in this apartment again. Thank you!

We (2 adults and an 8 year old) stayed here for 5 nights and it was exactly what we needed. The apartment had everything we needed, and the wifi was very good. Size wise it was great for us but I think anymore than 4 and it would start to feel cramped. I think its fair to say the apartment is starting to look a bit tired but that didn't impact our stay. The view is great, especially when its snowing :-) Location is perfect. 2 mins to spar, bakery, take away pizza, bar and ski hire shop (SPORT2000 - great kit at very reasonable price and let us leave our bags there on the last day) and 5 min walk to the lifts.

We would certainly use this flat. We had a great week (2 adults, 2 children) and the flat has everything you could possibly need. Having the ski locker and the free ski bus every 15 mins made access to the slopes easy. At the end of the day, get off the bus at the first stop just after the car parking and walk down the short path - this will save you sitting on the bus for the whole circuit. We hired skis from Sport 2000 Foret which is very close. Spar shop and bakery close by too. Collecting keys from the laundry was no problem and we hired towels from the same place. For transfers from Geneva, we used Go Massif. Would certainly recommend them too.

The flat is small but well organised and equipped. Ideally located near the bakery and the supermarket of Flaine Foret, near the lift to go to Flaine Forum and nearly in front of the bus stop taking you to the beginning of the slopes.

A beautiful mountain retreat . The house is right at the bottom of the slopes and had everything we needed from a tin opener to piping hot water. A perfect place to completely relax. The view from the balcony is breath taking.

We had a great week staying in this cosy apartment. It is very handy for ski hire shops, bakers, supermarkets and most importantly for us, the slopes. We had everything we needed and it was a lovely 'home' to come back to after a day in the snow. Useful having a ski locker too. Would love to return next season.

Just got back from a week skiing in Flaine, and Heather's apartment was great! Clean, reasonable size (there were 2 of us but could fit a family of 4 comfortably) and close to the slopes. Also very close to the local bakery which is handy for getting bread and croissants in the morning. There is a basic but nice kitchenette, a comfortable living space with TV and wifi, a locker for skis etc. and a good size balcony with a nice view. Picking up and dropping off the keys was easy enough so no complaints all round.

Everything you need for the perfect skiing holiday in Flaine. Just a short walk to the slopes but you can leave skis and boots at patricks locker on the piste. The apartment is warm and well equipped. Supermarket,restaurant and lovely boulangerie are next door. Wifi is reliable. Perfect! Thanks to the owner.

We had a great time staying in Heathers apartment in Flaine. Having never been to Flaine before we were slightly unsure about where to stay but it's such a small place that this apartment is perfectly located for everything. It's really easy to find and check in is straightforward. Parking is available only a short walk away and is a reasonable 6 euros a day. The apartment has a lovely balcony with stunning views, perfect for relaxing on after a long day on the slopes. There was only two of us so plenty of space and everything you could need to cook with. There is a lot of storage as well so it didn't feel cluttered. We loved that it was on the ground floor so no stairs to scale with suitcases. It was really clean and the pull out bed in the bedroom was very comfy. A big plus for us was the bath which was very much needed to rest the tired muscles! Would definitely stay again. Great base for a summer family holiday

Great base for a summer family holiday

The apartment was well equipped, clean and felt homely. It accommodated 3 adults and 2 children well for part of our stay and had a surprising amount of storage. We never tired of the view from the balcony and found that it was well situated for the resort facilities including a lovely bakery. We spent some days in the resort itself which in the summer is equipped with lots of family activities (a small charge for a weekly / daily summer pass). Our kids aged 4 and 7 years loved the bouncy castles, high ropes, trampolines and quad bikes to name a few. On other days we went on local walks, picnics and a cable car ride to the local mountain top where we were rewarded with a fantastic view overlooking Mont Blanc. We also ventured further afield over to Chamonix and Annecy which are about an hour away in the car. We would recommend this property for a family summer holiday and found the owners to be helpful and accommodating.
