great place with a very worm host

Very good and helpful stuff. They made our visit super nice. The breakfast is very generous, and the pool is a great addition for the hot summer days.

The only thing that could be better is a Wi-Fi connection in the rooms and not just in the lobby.

A charming escape to a Greek rural delight

This is a truly unique hotel. Set less than 3km from the border with Albania in a UNESCO geopark in the Greek mountains. A rural delight. Great for lovers of nature, wildlife, local produce. A family run charming hotel. The owner is passionate about preserving the natural diversity of the area and keeps more than 800 deer in a special reserve that you can see in the evenings.

You need a car to access this lovely spot.

a wonderful game reserve in the countryside

third visit here: Mr Tasos owns the hotel & estate. it would be difficult, anywhere, to find a more charming, generous or gentle host. this is an oasis of peace & tranquillity surrounded by forest & mountains. there are very old monasteries, mills and the city of Konitsa to explore locally as well as walks and a pool to relax in. plenty of game and locally sourced food & wine to enjoy, too.

We got a feeling of home from the first moment at the hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful in planning the itineraries and travel tips every day. We received help and guidance in planning routes and attractions every day. Tips and detailed directions to the sites in Zagoria. The hotel is a short drive from the town of Konitsa, other attractions such as rafting, bridges, streams and wonderful viewpoints. The hotel swimming pool is a big plus for families with children. Great place to travel and know Zagoria and north of Greece

Room was really basic (for the price), but relatively spacious. Booked room with balcony, ended up with room with no balcony. The restaurant was pricey, for no apparent reason.

Phenomenal.

A Phenomenal symbiosis of people dynamics and natural beauty from the surroundings The food was elegant and exquisite served to royal Standards. The health and hygiene precautions were observed without exception despite all staff being fully vaccinated The hospitality and willingness of the owner to proactively provide support guidance and local tips was something we have not experienced before and their care for our 7 year old daughter was almost familyesque

The house is a former hunters' residence converted to a "wild life resort". Guests should not feel disturbed by the abundant hunting trophies all over the place.

Φιλική υποδοχή, πλήρες πρωινό και συνεχής διαθεσιμότητα προσωπικού στη ρεσεψιόν. Το προσωπικό ήταν πρόθυμο να παρέχει πληροφορίες για την περιοχή και για δραστηριότητες. Τα δωμάτια και οι κοινόχρηστοι χώροι ήταν πολύ καθαροί. Ήσυχο και διακριτικό περιβάλλον.

Geweldig, en heel mooi!

De ligging was perfect! Je kan zoveel kanten op om bezienswaardigheden te zien. De eigenaar is super enthousiast om je te informeren over de mooie dingen in de omgeving, die man is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zo zijn er niet veel!

Schitterende natuur vlakbij wildlife park en Vikos kloof

Super behulpzaam personeel en eigenaar. Rondleiding door het wildlife park is een must, met begeleiding en uitleg van de super enthousiaste eigenaar van het park. Veel tips voor bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving (de bron van de rivier, de 9e eeuwse brug met waterval etc.). Vlakbij Aoos kloof en Vikos kloof met spectaculaire uitzichten. Restaurant van het hotel serveert bijzondere gerechten, die zeer de moeite waard zijn.

De kamers zijn iets gedateerd, maar passen wel in de sfeer van een wildlife lodge.

Traum

Dieses Hotel ist kaum in Worte zu fassen. Die Lage inmitten einer unberührten Landschaft, in der Nähe der von der UNESCO ausgezeichnete Nationalpark mit der Vikos-Schlucht. Das Hotel gleicht einer riesigen Jagdhütte, mit vielen selbstentworfenen Möbeln. Es wird jedoch viele Annehmlichkeiten geboten. Ein großer Pool lädt zum Schwimmen ein. Im Kaminzimmer kann man eine Runde Schach spielen oder ein gutes Buch lesen. Das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen ist von höchster Qualität und besteht ausschließlich aus regionalen Produkten und Zutaten. Der trockene Rotwein aus der Gegend nimmt es mit jedem italienischen auf. Auch das Bier aus der Gegend, welches dem irischen Bier ähnelt sollte man probieren. Wir selbst waren mit dem Motorrad unterwegs und waren über die überdachten Parkplätze sehr froh. Die schier unendlichen Möglichkeiten für Tagestouren On oder Off-Road sind fantastisch. Jorgo war mit seinen Tipps der beste Gastgeber seit langem.

Séjour inoubliable au coeur des zagoria

L'hotel est situé au coeur d'une région préservée de la grèce idéale pour un séjour nature ! L'accueil de la famille gérant l'hôtel depuis plusieurs générations est exceptionnel de gentillesse et de courtoisie. N'hésitez pas à demander à Giorgos (qui aussi le parle français) de vous expliquer tous les petits secrets de la région, il vous trouvera une activité adaptée à vos goûts et envie. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, varié et riche. Le restaurant permet de déguster des mets qu'on ne trouve que rarement (du cerf ou du daim par exemple). Les chambres sont très confortables, l'environnement extrêmement silencieux ce qui garantit une nuit parfaite. En été, il y a une piscine, ce qui est très agréable car il peut faire chaud dans la région.

Geweldig hotel in de mooie natuur

Het persoonlijk contact. Iedereen was zo aardig en behulpzaam. Ook het ontbijt was echt heerlijk! Allemaal lokale verse producten. Evenals het avond eten. De tour die het hotel ter plekke aanbiedt in hun eigen beschermd natuurpark is ten zeerste aan te bevelen! Hoeveel liefde en passie deze mensen voor de natuur en biodiversiteit hebben is ongelooflijk mooi!

De bedden waren aan de iets te korte kant voor de langere mensen. Ook sliep het best wel hard. Maar dit is maar een klein detail voor wat je er allemaal voor terug krijgt bij dit prachtige hotel.
