ABC Chalet Tioman

We had an amazing experience at ABC Chalet and would definitely stay there again. The location in Air Batang was perfect, right by the beach and very convenient for exploring Tioman. They even arranged to pick us up directly from the ferry when we arrived, which made everything really easy. The room was simple but very clean, with hot water and a fan that worked perfectly. We booked all our activities and snorkeling trips directly through the chalet, and everything was well organized. The food was honestly one of the highlights of our stay. We ate there almost every day because everything we tried was excellent. Even our friends staying at another hotel regularly came over to eat with us. We especially loved the BBQ nights. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. There’s also a ferry less than a 10-minute walk away, which was very convenient when we left the island. Overall, great location, excellent food, clean rooms, well-organized activities and amazing service. One of our best experiences in Tioman!

everything was amazing

We got a jungle facing room and could see wildlife and it was exciting. Great stay. Beach is super clean. Perfect island getaway. Host was friendly and we even watched the FIFA worldcup final with the locals. You can simply walk along the road and discover good eateries. And you can snorkel to your heart's content.

Mina (the host) was very nice. She’s reachable on whatsapp which is very convenient. The kampung is full of beautiful plants and there was food nearby. Theres also lists of recreational activities like kayaking, snorkeling, diving, land tours, and the price for each clearly stated, so you dont have to bargain or figure it out.

Isolated and quite hard to get from this resort to anywhere else in the island, prepare to pay at least RM30 per person to go anywhere. Food options limited. Too many floodlights at night, cant see stars. Beach is very rocky, not good for swimming.
