A cosy village stay in Alsace managed by lovely local couple
Danielle and Jacques were the perfect hosts for our stay in Lapoutroie. If you are after an oasis in Alsace you can’t go wrong. The apartment was large, cosy, clean and well priced. We could even charge our electric car overnight within the parking space.
Lapoutroie is a small village, so if you want to eat out you need to book in advance. By 10pm the village is silent. The church bells go off throughout the day which adds to the atmosphere of the village, but isn’t conducive to a long lie in.

An idyllic stay in a lovely area of France
Beautiful location in a lovely little village, with a very pleasant and peaceful garden. The apartment was very well equipped and the owner let us use her electric car charger at a reasonable cost. Good walks from the apartment and lots of interesting old villages nearby.
