About this apartment rental
7th Heaven Rentals values the health, safety, and relaxed enjoyment of our guests more than anything. As a result of the coronavirus, we have enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols. We're taking extra care to completely disinfect our apartments after a thorough cleaning. We use the strongest (yet safe) disinfectants in cleaning all linens, towels, appliances and service items in our apartments. All surfaces are disinfected and our cleaning staff wears gloves and masks.
Additionally, all of our apartments have self check in with our high security code entry systems. To be doubly sure of their safety, all our apartments are left vacant for 48 hours prior to welcoming a new guest.
From the moment you enter this Zen-infused penthouse, you are transported to a relaxing island in the sky with 360-degree views from your large terrace or comfortable balcony.
Every piece of furniture, cabinet and woodwork is custom, one of a kind, mostly from the owner's travels throughout Asia. There are luxury finishes throughout the home. It features an open full kitchen and living areas, the bedroom is separated by Japanese sliding shoji doors. Kitchen has a large carved wood island, granite countertops plus new appliances and pantry. Living area has a daybed sofa and Large Smart TV built in the wall.
The entire apartment was designed for Medellin's year-round pleasant temperate climate as all sliding doors can be opened up so that the ample balcony and large terrace become one with the indoor space with nice breezes throughout the day. If a pop-up thunderstorm occurs the terrace has high 14-foot roof that is motorized and remote-controlled. roof that will extend out to cover the terrace with either an opaque, waterproof cover or completely covered with a bamboo roof. The terrace features a waterfall fountain, lush vines and plants that are on an automated drip system. Comfortable seating and a table allows for al fresco dining. Large Smart TV which can be pivoted for great viewing anywhere on the terrace or from the kitchen.
Bathroom has floor-to-ceiling tile with a raindrop showerhead and hand-carved rock sink.
Laundry/utility area is off the kitchen with a W/D combo machine, separate sink and storage cabinet.
The wood island has stools for dining or chatting while there is a table on the terrace with seating for four.

The building has security cameras, intercom system and porter the lobby from 7am-7pm daily. The building has a community room and steam bath available upon request.
Apt is located in a quiet, tree-lined residential area, but centrally located. There is a convenient small market one block away and many more restaurants and shops with a few blocks. Segundo Parque is the swankiest part of upscale Laureles and very centrally located. Viva Laureles, a popular mall is only a five block walk. Avenida Nutibara, the upscale artery three blocks away, where you will find a variety of unique shops and boutiques, myriad restaurants plus supermarkets, pharmacies, banks and many other stores where you can find most anything you may need.

We had high expectations for this homestay and this very unique space surpassed it.. Between the asian-inspired custom furnishings (very comfy), the excellent views from the spacious lush garden terrace and balcony and all the thoughtful amenities and extras, we felt completely pampered and didn't want to leave the apartment.
The location is one block from Segundo Parque, so its ideal for walking to the nearby boutiques and trying out different cuisines at the multiple fine restaurants.
The apartment has large sliding doors that open completely to the outdoors on both sides so you almost feel like you are outside even when you are inside.(which works great with Medellin's mild weather)
When we enjoyed the terrace during the day, we could close the retractable roof with the flip of a switch for either some partial shade or for complete cover.. At night, we would open it to enjoy the city lights and open sky. The place was designed and furnished as the perfect place to relax or entertain.. (There is a desk and fast WIFI in case you do need to work, Ugh).. If you have a fear of heights, you should know that the terrace has clear glass sides, so it has a very open feel.. We would love to come back and enjoy more time in the wonderful atmosphere of this penthouse.
