Upper Calffield Barn is perfect for a romantic getaway for one or two couples - or as a holiday venue for small families. This contemporary two double bedroom, two bathroom barn conversion is light, airy and spacious with vaulted ceiling and beams and beautiful furnishings which give it the "wow" factor. In a lovely rural setting it is only a ten minute drive from the numerous shops and restaurants of Haverfordwest and fifteen minutes from a selection of wide sandy beaches.

We booked this location last-minute, after our original booking was cancelled. This one ended up being excellent. Everything was exactly as in the photos and we loved the quietness of the area.Initially we had some reservations about the remoteness of the location, but it turned out perfect for exploring Pembrokeshire

The Barn at Upper Calffield Farm is special. It is extremely clean and well cared for and has all the amenities one could ask for in a vacation rental home. The kitchen is well equipped and the beautiful setting for the dining room table makes a meal very memorable. The linens are top notch, the hot water is hot, the washing machine is good size, and the parking is a breeze. The internet is fast and reliable. And the location? Exactly what we wanted - out in the "country" surrounded by nature and animals but within easy driving reach of the Wales Coastal Path, the Golden Road, Pembrokeshire National Park, and more! We stayed 5 nights and didn't want to leave - and that's the highest compliment one can give a short term vacation rental. Highly recommend.

A gorgeous converted barn, this property is very spacious and comfortable. In a rural, quiet, location but still within easy reach of the entirity of Pembrokeshire, it makes a great base. It was well equipped and had everything we could have possibly wanted. Definitely one we'll be returning to!

Margaret (owner) and Sean (caretaker) we’re excellent with their communications which made for a very relaxing stay. The property was all that we had hoped for, clean, spacious, with all mod cons that we needed while there. It is relatively ‘remote’ and car needed but as it was in the heart of Pembroke, everywhere on the south and west coasts was an easy commute. Made full use of log burner, and spent several cosy evenings in a wet February just chilling with a wine or beer. Thanks Margaret- will certainly recommend.

We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at The Barn, Upper Calffield Farm, Haverfordwest. The property was beautiful and has been done to a very high spec. It had everything we needed and is set in a lovely location. We will definitely miss waking up to the ponies and sheep each morning. It’s located well for amenities and not too far away from the local beaches and Pembrokeshire coastal path. We would highly recommend this listing. You won’t be disappointed.

While we were very unlucky with the weather and didn't get to experience Pembrokeshire at its best, we had a wonderful stay at Upper Callfield Farm and will definitely return should we find ourselves in Pembrokeshire again. In fact, we were lucky to have a cosy and inviting place to be when the weather was too rotten to want to go out. Our 5 year old loved the farm and feeding the 3 Shetland Ponies a carrot and apple every day. It was nice and quiet, but still close enough to Haverfordwest for the convenience of shops. There was also a pub directly opposite which we never did visit but it was good to know it was there if we found ourselves at a loose end! Location also a good jumping off point to explore Pembrokeshire widely without being too far from anywhere. Everything in the property was in good working order, well equipped, and to a high standard. The welcome basket with nibbles, welsh cakes, and prosecco (plus a pint of milk in the fridge) was also a lovely touch to arrive to after a long journey.

A super barn conversion in a quiet location, great for visiting the areas around Newgale and the Coastal Path. The boat trips in July to Ramsay and Skomer islands were fabulous for bird watching and walking. Great to come back to The Barn to relax in the garden at the end of the day. A lovely holiday.

After arriving a day before schedule, the landlady was so accomdating and sympathetic to my mistake! Everything from there on in was exactly what we needed: quiet spaces to recede into after sharing quality family time in the open-plan living area. So quiet, calm and secluded away from traffic, the situation of The Barn was perfect for our needs. Definitely going to return!

This property was exactly as advertised. The cottage is spacious and well equipped, warm, and welcoming. The king-size bed is so comfortable. A full set of manuals is provided. The property manager, Sean, was available and met all of our needs quickly and efficiently. Our three weeks were delightful.

We loved our weeks stay in the barn. It was lovely and clean with great facilities and loads of space for our two young children to play. They especially loved the ponies out the back of the garden and the giant bath. The barn is ideally placed in the middle of Pembrokeshire, with places like Tenby no more than 40 minutes away. We also loved the beaches and walking from little haven and broad haven which are really close. We would love to come again one day as we've made loads of great memories.

Marvellous annex conversion with all you need pint of milk for you in the fridge, bottle of wine and nibbles a lovely thoughtful touch. Everything you will need at the property great place to stay if you plan to explore the west coast of wales everything is 15/30mins max away I cannot find a complaint for this property 5* Thankyou. We will visit again 😀

Myself and my cousins booked the Farmhouse and Barn for the weekend of a family wedding and couldn’t be happier with with our stay. The house is well equipped for large groups with everything you need for a few days in Wales. Communication with Margaret/Sean was great. Would definitely recommend!

The barn was a stunning and calm place in which to combine relaxation with an exploration of Pembrokeshire. Camrose is situated so well for the coastline and gorgeous beaches. The accommodation had excellent facilities and was equipped to a high standard. The guest hamper was a lovely touch! So were the ponies and horses in the fields who we enjoyed feeding with carrots. I would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone looking to stay within glorious Pembrokeshire.

The property is spacious, clean and has great outdoors (ponies for a toddler were the highlight) and the caretaker was very lovely. Location is great as its not far from amenities as well as exploring all the lovely beaches/villages. Margaret, the owner very kindly supplied us with a great list of things to do, only wish we would have time to do more! Highly recommend!

This place is more spacious than the images show - we had great value for money and booked the whole place for just my wife and 8 month old baby. The open plan kitchen living area is bright and airy and a nice fire place for evenings, the master bedroom is large and great view of the farm land and the very friendly horses who come up to the garden fence to say hi. The property was well presented and has everything you would need - staff where great from Margaret’s speedy response time on email to Sean the caretaker on site to help. And we were pleasantly surprised with the great little welcome basket of goodies. Location is great to drive to a number of beaches within 15-25 mins - it was perfect for us. Would stay again when visiting West Wales. Thanks Margaret and Sean!

Having to stay near Haverfordwest for a short placement at the hospital, this was ideal to have somewhere cosy to return to! Sean was on hand for any queries and Margaret was helpful in communication prior to my stay. Property was lovely and had everything I might have needed!

And comfortable accommodation. There were a number of cobwebs but otherwise clean and there seemed to be a bit of confusion over parking for the other on site rentals, but there was no shortage! Lovely area, handy just a few miles out of Haverfordwest but feel like you've escaped into the countryside. The children loved the ponys!

I received an email from the owner of the property as the barn had accidentally been double booked. She offered us the main farmhouse however, and it was absolutely worth staying in! It was really cosy in the evenings, we felt free and was left to do our own thing all weekend. There were clear instructions on how to work anything, everything was easy to find, and she even left us a little welcome hamper which was delicious. Me and my friends will be definitely coming back.

The barn at upper calffield has the highest quality fixtures and fittings and is equipped to cope with inclement weather and out of season holidays. The location is very central for visiting all parts of west wales. We have taken holidays in 20 or more similar properties all over europe and we class the barn in the top three.

Beautifully clean, and a lovely welcome with goodies and wine. The Caretaker was excellent and so helpful. The only disadvantage we found was that being very elderly, it was a long way to get food. We had to go to Haverford West, and my Husband sometimes wants to stay in. I would go back.....Its lovely.

We stayed here for 7 nights around the Welsh National Tractor Run. The Barn is very well equipped with a fantastic wet room. We didn’t get chance to try the slipper bath. Views over the ponies were restful. We visited Little Haven, St David’s, Tenby and Saundersfoot. We also sampled wine at a local vineyard. Lots to do and see around the area. Do visit the Vincent Davies department store up the road. Lovely experience.

A lovely place to stay. Everything you need is available which you rarely find in a holiday home, especially in the kitchen. The bottle of wine and snacks left for us was much appreciated, although due to dietary requirements I couldn't partake in the snacks. Felt very quiet and private even though there are more holiday homes around you.
