We (family, two small kids) were there for two weeks in August 2023. Literally everything was great. Easily the best Croatia apartment experience we've had so far, on the level of the best places we've stayed at in Italy. I often complain that apartment owners in Croatia can't be bothered to provide some of the basic stuff like salt, pepper, some oil so I have to buy much more than I need if I forget to bring my own. Well, Galicija had everything we could reasonably ask for and a lot of the stuff that was amazing to find but I wouldn't expect or hope for. Completely equipped kitchen, and when I say completely, I mean on the level of my own back home; washing machine (and some detergent), dish washer (and the tabs), iron and ironing board... you get the picture. If, for some reason, we were forced to live there for a couple of months - we could, without any discomfort. It's clear that Gordana really thought about the experience she wanted her guests to have, and we are very greatful for it. The apartment was spotless, the wifi worked great, the TV had kids' channels. The communication with Gordana was great, whatever we needed she was there to help.

Nothing that concerns the apartment, but a few things worth mentioning: - There is no on-site parking, but there's a place where you can park for free cca 200 meters from the apartment. - The nearest beach suitable for smaller kids is 20-25 minutes on foot so we basically used the car more than I typically like to do. We did our research upfront and were ok with the tradeoff, but if you're in the similar situation you need to plan on driving to the beach. With bigger kids or adults you have a lot more beach choices (and walking range) so this should not be a factor.

The apartment is about 7 minutes walk from the church in Milna and about 10 minutes from the beach. It is much nicer and larger than the photos show. It has two spacious bedrooms and a living room / kitchen with more than enough space for four people. The kitchen has everything you need to cook family meals (loads of appliances and a dishwasher) although we chose to eat out most days as the restaurants in Milna offer great seafood. The place is nicely decorated and was very clean. The beds are very comfortable and there are extra blankets and pillows if need be.The bathroom is spacious, has extra towels and an added bonus is the washing machine which is perfect to rinse bikinis and beachwear after a day swimming and sunbathing. There is no balcony/terrace but this wasn’t a problem as we ate breakfast on the porch of the flat which has an amazing view over the marina in Milna. The flat is very quiet and you cannot hear the church bells which I love but can be a tad disturbing for those not used to it as the bells ring all night long. The only thing I can think of that may put people off is the apartment is the location as it is at the top of a steep hill and can be very exhausting to walk up the hill in the midday sun and especially with baggage. On the other hand I seen it as an opportunity to work out and I can tell you that ten times up and down the hill every morning is all you’ll need to keep or get in shape. The hosts Gordana and Damir were very kind and helpful and we were given an early check in and a late check out. Will definitely return to this apartment as I really couldn’t fault it in anyway.

The hill up to the apartment may be too much for some people.

Nice and tidy, well-equipped apartment. Beautiful view onto the harbour. Helpful hosts and small gifts, like cold water in the fridge, some sweets etc.

No parking possibility next to the apartment. No bicycle can be stored at the house.
