About this house rental
Nira House is a beach house that is located next to two stunning beaches (S. Julião and Foz do Lizandro), 25 minutes from Sintra with its magical monuments and 40 minutes from Lisbon airport.
It is a house that combines the simplicity of forms with the refinement of details with excellent views of the sea (a 10-minute walk from S. Julião beach), full of natural light, it offers the best of both worlds, the tranquility of countryside and sea air.
The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and in the living and dining room you can enjoy views of the pool and sea.
The outdoor pool is great for taking a dip (can be heated for an extra fee), well located on a large terrace to the south, with lots of sunshine that invites you to relax or play in the water.
It also has external furniture to support meals and a barbecue, an external shower and leisure and relaxation furniture next to the pool. Parking is free and next to the house, as well as you can use bicycles for beautiful mountain walks overlooking the beaches. It also offers some games, such as a ping pong table.

-Tourist tax during peak season: €2.50 (adult/night), payable at check-in.

This villa has clearly been designed with your comfort in mind. The sun shines on the pool and loungers all day, while a gentle sea breeze keeps things perfectly balanced. The hammocks are perfectly sheltered from the breeze—ideal for a peaceful read or afternoon nap. Paying a little extra to heat the pool was well worth it—it took the edge off the chill and made it perfect for long, relaxing swims or pool play. If you enjoy cooking, you’ll love the fresh local produce available at nearby shops (a short drive away). The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked with everything you need. And if cooking’s not on the cards, there are plenty of restaurants within easy reach. Be sure to visit the local bakery—the bread is fresh and the tarts are unforgettable.The beach is just a short walk down a hilly, stony path where you can watch the sun set over the Atlantic. There are also great walking trails and cycling routes nearby if you’re feeling adventurous.We’ll definitely be back. Our kids had a brilliant time, and a huge thank you to Tania for being such a kind and responsive host.

It was our first time in Portugal. Nira Haus was a great place to stay and we will come back. The house and the view are beautiful, the hosts were always approachable with good tipps and help, when needed. We had a relaxing time and enjoyed everything very much. If you do not want to stay at the house all the time two beaches are in walking distance offering everything we needed - nice beach restaurant/bar, amazing views and the option to learn surfing. Ericeira is just around the corner. You need to have a car to go there, but you find a laid back (at least at this time of the year) small city with good fish restaurants. See you soon again!
