Alles was prima

Spectacular views from the large terrace and windows over Voss, the lake and the mountains. The terrace is fully furnished and perfect for relaxing for hours. The surroundings are very quiet and peaceful. Comfortable bedroom, with a living room and kitchen downstairs, plus parking directly by the entrance. For those who value entertainment, there is fast internet, a large TV and Apple TV. Upstairs, there is also a second TV, games and possibly a game console. Access is less convenient for adults, so it is better suited to children—our child was very happy to have the whole floor to himself.

The kitchen knives needed sharpening, and the oven could have been cleaner. The upstairs area, which includes a second bedroom and children’s lounge, contained many of the owners’ belongings. Laundry was also drying there, creating high humidity and a strong smell of detergent, which was unpleasant for me as an allergy sufferer. Overall, it feels like someone’s private home that is occasionally rented out—you feel more like a guest than a paying renter, which has both advantages and disadvantages.

We would like a refund for the linens because we paid extra for sheets and linens but all of them had a mildew smell as though they had not been properly washed or dried.
