The walls of the rooms are framed by canvases and poetic phrases that trace the love story between the protagonists Bella and Edward, Reneesme and Jacob.
The structure, located just 150 meters from the majestic St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums, is located on the 5th floor of a modern and silent building, equipped with a lift. It is surrounded by a huge terrace that offers an exclusive and unique panorama throughout the year, from which you can admire the immensity and beauty of the Dome. And where you can dine or sip an aperitif while enjoying a luxurious view reserved for the only lucky guests of "Esme Island".
The apartment, completely renovated, represents the ideal solution to escape from your daily life and to spend a relaxing and romantic stay for the couple and the family.
Consisting of two bedrooms with private bathroom and satellite TV, an exclusive living room with the use of a sofa that can become a comfortable bed if necessary, a new, well-equipped and welcoming kitchen, an air conditioning system and internet access free (adsl). Lying down, then, on the soft sofas arranged inside a glass room (Cullen room), you can enjoy small moments of relaxation in the company of a good book or a hot tea.
The excellent location allows you to easily reach, even on foot, the most famous streets of the historic center, as well as the most enchanting places of the Eternal City (St. Peter's Square, Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Fountain di Trevi, Piazza Venezia, the Imperial Forums, the Circus Maximus). To visit the rest of the city, you can take advantage of the metropolitan service (Line A - Line B) and other surface vehicles.
Esme Island can be reached with the underground (Ottaviano stop - Line A), with the light metro FR3 (San Pietro station at 200 meters) and with other means of transport.

The location was very close to the Vatican and the apartment was very nice and quiet. We had outdoor access to the roof, which made the place seem bigger. Some negative parts was outside there was a lot of tiny red spiders walking around and ants on the inside. The elevator only went to the 4th floor and my 80 year old mother had to walk the additional flight of stairs. There is also a 6 euro per person per night tax that has to be paid in cash at the end. (Host also needed a copy of everyone’s Id) I tried to pay it through VRBO but the host insisted that I had to leave it inside the apartment when we leave. I asked for a receipt but none was provided and she seemed very irritated that I asked for one. She told me that she would email me, but it’s been over a week and I still haven’t seen it. There was also a problem with the toilet, but the host came there to fix it and bought us some pastries and champagne for the inconvenience. One last thing beware that check in information was sent on what’s ap and not through VRBO, so without that information, it was a little confusing to find it.

It cannot get any better!
We could spend hours admiring this view, especially in the evening with a good glass of italian red wine.
Ilaria is the most wonderful, helpful and considerate host and we cannot recommend this apartment enough. Grazie mille e a presto!
