Akrafjorden Nature B&B AS

Our stay at Akrafjorden Nature Bed and Breakfast was truly one of the highlights of our time in Norway. The accommodation is wonderfully eclectic and full of character—a former schoolhouse that has been transformed into a charming B&B. One of the most special details is the owner, Robert, actually attended school in the very building where he now welcomes guests. That history gives the place a unique sense of warmth and personality. Robert is an exceptionally attentive and welcoming host. The breakfasts were incredibly delicious, and if you arrange it in advance, Robert may also be able to prepare dinner for you. I highly recommend taking him up on the offer—his meals were some of the best we had anywhere in Norway! The setting is absolutely gorgeous. The surrounding land is breathtaking, with raspberry and blackberry patches on the property and nearby. For those looking for adventure, the via ferratas Robert has installed are brilliant. The via ferratas require payment, which is appropriate because of the expense and effort in establishing and maintaining them. They are challenging enough to be exciting while also being very well protected, making for an unforgettable experience. I was initially concerned about the lack of a private bathroom, but it turned out to be a complete non-issue. The bathrooms are conveniently located close to the rooms and are very easily accessible—even for those of us who need to make a middle-of-the-night trip to the bathroom! The location is also fantastic, with Langfoss waterfall nearby. It is considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world and seeing it in this spectacular landscape is something we will not forget. If you are looking for a conventional, cookie-cutter hotel, this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you appreciate character, history, incredible food, beautiful scenery, adventure, and a genuinely attentive host, Akrafjorden Nature Bed and Breakfast is an absolute gem. You will not be disappointed!

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft, altes Schulhaus. Super Besitzer.

Eine alte Schule ist in eines alten Hotel modernisiert geworden. Eine wunderschöne Blick auf die Berge, sehr ruhig und direkt in Natur. Ich empfehle weiterhin.

Wenn jede Zimmer einen Bad haben, dann ist das Hitrl 5 Sterne.
