About this villa rental

Villa with private swimming pool and 8m / 4m, garden, 3 bedrooms, 9 beds, 1 bathroom with shower and toilet, 1 room with toilet and sink, dishwasher, washing machine and garden. Very peaceful area. The village has all the amenities (supermarkets, doctors, shops, banks, restaurants, cinemas, public swimming pool). Near Valensole, there is Lake Verdon with the Sainte Moustiers village, renowned for its cermica, to visit.

The villa is only a short hilly walk from the village, great for buying your fresh bread for breakfast in the morning. Nice location great views and very quiet. The pool is gorgeous so warm and the caretaker cleans it a couple of times during the week. You can hire bedding and towels, but would advise you take own towels as the hire ones are only bath towels and not bath sheets so a little small. Kitchen is nicely equipped but does not have a kettle or an oven just a job. There is a BBQ but very dirty and rusty. We bought a cheap BBQ in the supermarket and left it there. The caretakers only speak French but are very friendly and helpful. The villa on arrival was clean and the caretakers who live next door were quick to unlock and show us around. The villa is close to the amazing lavender fields a beautiful area. The village of Valensole has a couple of bars that also serve food and there are a couple of nice gift shops, a really lovely village with great friendly atmosphere. We would definitely think of staying at the villa again.

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine a Valensole. La maison est très agréable. Nous étions 8, et la cuisine ouverte sur l'espace séjour, était parfait. Suffisamment d'espace pour tout le monde. La terrasse dès le petit déjeuner, la piscine..... Tout le monde a adoré. Merci.

Wij verbleven 1 week in het huis met 4 volwassenen en 4 kinderen. Op 10 minuutjes wandelen van het dorp. Het meer is ongeveer 40 min rijden maar loont steeds de moeite. Er is altijd wel een plaatsje te vinden waar bijna geen andere mensen zijn en waar het uitzicht adembenemend is. Het zwembad was maar 22°C en de pH was te laag.
