About this house rental
House is located at the beautiful Second Valley in the Fleurieu Peninsula.
House is 200m from small cove with jetty to fish off and lovely sandy beach. It is a safe beach and good for snorkelling, swimming, fishing and kayaking. There is a kiosk which sells basics and takeaway food. The kiosk also hires out kayaks and stand up boards.
Second Valley is close to Wirrina golf course, Kuitpo Forest, Rapid Bay, kangaroo Island ferry, wineries and good restaurants and cafes.
The house has a large deck out the front and paved area at back. Front deck has large table and umbrella to soak up the beautiful view of rolling hills.
House suits summer or winter getaway with air conditioning and gas heater.
There are 2 large bedrooms upstairs , one with ensuite bathroom and both have beautiful views of the rolling hills and the sea. There are 3 smaller bedrooms downstairs. One room has bunks and the other 2 have double beds. Doonas, cotton blankets, pillows, tea towels, hand towels and bath mats provided. Sheets not provided.
There is a large bathroom downstairs and 2 toilets. Upstairs is an en-suite. Shower gel, soap, bath mats provided.
There is a large open plan kitchen which is well equipped with all crockery, glassware, cutlery, pans, serving dishes, tea-towels, hand towels. This flows into dining area with large dining table which seats 10. Large sliding doors open from lounge area onto large deck which has a large table, umbrella and chairs. Perfect for taking in the views of the rolling hills. Large sliding doors also open to back area which is paved with large plastic table and chairs.
The house is most comfortable for up to 8 people.
Outside is a gas barbeque, open barbeque pit, fire pit and pizza oven. Festoon lights circle the garden.
Lemons and fresh herbs can be picked from the garden.
Perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach. Check-in 3pm and check-out 10.00am.

This is a very neat, comfortable & relaxing 2 story property in secluded Second Valley. There is no Wi-Fi so teenagers beware! It is a short stroll from the jetty, with easy access to Normanville and Cape Jervis. Outside there's a great pizza oven, bbq and a brazier for chilly nights. Inside has a gorgeous gas fire plus ducted a/c. We had an unexpected power issue which the owner was very prompt in sorting out, and a blocked toilet (but there are 3 so it didn't bother us). There's a terrific supply of games which we enjoyed, and a divine claw foot bath. Overall, a lovely property for a wintry holiday exploring our magnificent Fleurieu Peninsula.

Nice place though 17 stairs to upper 2 bedrooms can be a small challenge. Great otherwise, and proximity to jetty and kiosk fantastic. Ingalalla Falls nice picnic spot. Normanville close by.
