Olimpia's House

The host Alesio is a great young guy, extremilly friendly and supportive. When I got a fine for parking he paid it insted of me, becuase he, somehow, instructed me to park the rental car there. The appratment is really spacious, with very nice terrace, from which you can enjoy fantastic view on the see. The apparthent is equipped well, therefore you can easily prepare meals. There is also very good coffe machine, for which Alesio left 10 sachets for free. Taornina itself is very nice, clean and expenscive place, most probably the nicest place at Sicily!

Tarominga is very hard for driving, and specially for parking, of the car. it is very hilly place, with narrow, one way streets. It is very hard to find a parking place. Sometimes you loose 20 mins to find place, for which, again, you are not sure if will be fined. Going to the beach is hard by foot, and by car you need cca 40 mins to reach the beach.

The location was good and the view from the balcony was amazing. Alessio was also very helpful.

It could have been a little cleaner, the sofa bed had quite a few stains. The TV in the bedroom was tiny and there wasn't anywhere to plug it in. Should be more sockets.

La struttura dell'appartamento, ampio e ben organizzato, e la vista dalla veranda hanno migliorato la percezione dell'intera sistemazione.

Posizione dell'appartamento, sebbene non troppo distante da porta Messina, è situato alle pendici di una serie di discese/salite ripidissime (quasi un dirupo 😅), l' ascensore della struttura rimane inutilizzabile per l'ultima rampa, se si hanno bagagli pesanti o ci sono persone con qualche problema di deambulazione lo sconsiglierei. Parcheggio quasi del tutto inesistente, se si trova qualche posto è MOLTO in pendenza, attenzione alla frizione della macchina. La pulizia non era delle migliori abbiamo trovato odore di immondizia all'interno del mobile della cucina e uno scarafaggio piuttosto grande , abbiamo dovuto ripulire tutto ed acquistare un insetticida. Ci sarebbero dei lavori di manutenzione da effettuare, abbiamo trovato il lavandino otturato (stappato da noi stessi), getto d'acqua della doccia molto debole, si esaurisce quasi del tutto se si accende un qualsiasi altro rubinetto contemporaneamente. Divano-Letto con doghe difettose, materasso piú basso dalla parte della testiera, abbiamo ovviato un po' alla posizione a testa in giù girandoci da capo a piedi.
