About this apartment rental

The apartment was purpose built 7 years ago as a one bedroomed unit. It therefore benefits from double glazing, central heating and modern appliances. It is fully equipped for a super holiday. Super Fast Broadband WiFi included in the price. The price you see is the price you pay with no hidden charges for towels, bedding, cleaning, heating etc. There is off road parking at the apartment but the location is ideally situated for independent travellers, within easy reach of Newquay airport and Redruth coach and train station. This is a none smoking environment and unfortunately the accommodation is not suitable for pets. Cornwall's main artery road the A30 is approx 2 miles away giving easy access to all the popular resorts. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dinning table. 3 seater sofa and swivel reclining chair with foot stool, 40" TV and DVD with surround sound. Sony CD & radio, Blue tooth speaker. South facing balcony with small table and chairs for alfresco dinning, 2 wicker cushioned chairs and parasol. The bedroom has 2 single electric beds with memory form mattresses, TV, DAB radio, hair dryer, plenty of hanging space and 2 sets of drawers, ceiling fan and en suite shower room with toilet, basin, shaver socket and heated towel rail. The property is suitable for baby with travel cot, baby bath, high chair etc all available and included in price.

Wonderful little apartment on two levels, perfect for a couple. Everything was provided, to a standard and completeness I have never experienced before. Veronica and Ivan are perfect hosts, and I highly recommend their holiday apartment.

An excellent base for exploring, whether driving to the many must-see places, or walking the numerous pretty paths to the beautiful local beach at Portreath. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our hosts were wonderful. The apartment’s location was ideal, with up to 30-50 minutes to the favourite coastal beaches such as Kynance Cove, St Ives, Minack Theatre and many more. Great communication from ivan and veronica. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Location was good for lots of adventures. We cycled the coast to coast trail from portreath to Devoran, walked the coast path from portreath to porthtowan , had a cornish breakfast on a shovel at cornish gold and many more adventures as it was easy to get to many places. What a wonderful property this was and in a prime location. A warm welcome from Ivan and Veronica and a very grateful carton of milk in the fridge awaiting us for a well deserved cuppa. The property is decorated to a high standard and has everything to make this a home from home. Ivan and Veronica shared their knowledge of the area and highlighted some resorts/areas of Cornwall worth a visit. Cannot wait to see if we can holiday here again next year.

Ivan and Veronica are lovely hosts, very welcoming and helpful. Their apartment is superb, modern with tasteful décor and equipped with everything you could need for a wonderful holiday with easy access to beaches and countryside. We stayed in a very hot week and loved the balcony to sit out on with a view overlooking fields and beyond. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was an added bonus too. We were very comfortable there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Lovely stay here 3rd to 10th July 21. Absolutely amazing apartment, spotless, well equipped, home from home, the owners have thought of everything, all the little touches make such a difference. Lovely bottle of procesco, Cornish biscuits , lovely bag also milk and coffee and other items to start you off. All the reviews on this site are 100% accurate, would be hard to beat this accommodation, would recommend to anyone. Owners Ivan and Veronica are lovely and friendly and leave lots of useful information in the apartment, on best places to go, beaches, best ice cream 😁 etc. Great location for exploring Cornwall, lots of lovely places close by, St Ives, Truro, Falmouth, Perranporth, Padstow to name a few. The trip on the train into St Ives is definately worth doing, the scenery is lovely. Hope to return one day. All the best to the owners and if your ever in Liverpool, look us up for some recommendations. Jeanette & Tom xxx

Arrived at the apartment to be greeted by the owners Veronica and Ivan who gave us the keys and a brief introduction. On entering the apartment we were overwhelmed with the fixtures and fittings, it far exceeded our expectations and the welcome pack of tea, coffee etc plus a bottle of bubbles and some Cornish biscuits was much appreciated, on opening the fridge to unpack and store our foodstuffs we found fresh milk another welcome surprise. The bedroom & shower room both amazing. A wonderful holiday and birthday experience. So much to recommend the apartment which is a credit to Veronica & Ivan who are perfect hosts who gave us some great local information and ideas for our stay in Cornwall. We will have no reservations about recommending the apartment to our family and friends. Many thanks.

The apartment was very clean and well furnished to a high standard. There was everything we could possibly need. Loved the modern touches such as the reading lights in the bedroom! Ivan and Veronica were very welcoming and left us a list of instructions which were very comprehensive. There is no problem with parking as you can either park on the driveway or on the street. The property was very central to attractions and resorts such as St. Ives (& thank you Veronica for the tip about the train!), Lands End, Penzance, Perranporth, Hayle, The Lizard, St. Michael's Mount & Portreath to name but a few! We recommend Hells Mouth Cafe for a wonderful breakfast (another tip) and The Boatshed in Perranporth. Not sure about the Tate, but that's a matter of taste! Tip- make sure you take lots of change for parking unless you are super savvy with a smart phone! Thank you both for a great stay and we would highly recommend this property.

The apartment is well situated for exploring the whole of Cornwall. The owners of the apartment Ivan and Veronica are so welcoming and thoughtful... milk in fridge and cornish cookies for our arrival!! The apartment was of an extremely high standard with lovely furnishings, a great south facing balcony with a beautiful view. We were very happy to return each evening knowing we could relax in comfort. The local pub served amazing food and the fish and chip shop was exceptional. We would highly recommend a stay in this apartment and if we return to Cornwall we would love to stay here again.

The apartment is equipped to a high standard with all you would need and was very clean and comfortable. We would have no reservations recommending it to anyone. We had a wonderful holiday whilst staying in this lovely apartment. Ivan and Veronica have created a very comfortable, modern living space with everything you could need for your stay, including thoughtful extra touches such as milk, biscuits and fresh flowers, together with very good suggestions for local trips. Located within easy access to different sections of the SW Coast Path and many popular tourist resorts, it proved an excellent base from which to explore this beautiful county, whilst being close to local beaches. We recently had a weeks holiday at this apartment & would definitely recommend it. The owners Ivan & Veronica have created a lovely modern environment that is spotlessly clean & with every amenity you could wish for. The location is close to a lovely beach but if you wish to venture further afield St Ives & other resorts are within easy reach. We found it an advantage to be able to walk to the village pub which serves food & even joined in on quiz night! Everyone was very friendly. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday!

We recently got back from a great break in Cornwall, made all the better by the wonderful accomodation. The spec of the apartment is brilliant with every amenity you would expect and more. The added extra touches such as tea/coffee and milk being left for us made it even better. The owners were also so helpful with information and local knowledge. The location is great as there was so many things to do nearby and you are close enough to the A30 to get to everywhere else. Next time we are in Cornwall we will definetly be coming back to stay! Our trip to Cornwall was the first UK holiday for us, after a very long journey we were greeted to the nicest, warmest welcome by Ivan & Veronica!!! We were made to feel right at home! There is space to park your car - as our car is a little old it struggled to park right on the sloped drive however the owners were willing to go out of there way to shift around so we could park! As we were in & out most of the day it was easier to park on the street and was never short of parking spaces. The property is situated on a quiet residential road away from touristy parts of Cornwall which is fantastic if you want to get away! The home itself is modern, clean and absolutely stunning - there's lots of space inside and is fully equipped with everything you need and more, they even added the sweetest touch - milk, tea and coffee which, after a long drive, was extremely appreciated. Overall - the description of the property was more than accurate and exceeded our expectations. Ivan and Veronica were PERFECT at providing everything you need and are full of information on the best places to go and what to do - to be honest, we felt like they were family and were so comfortable with talking to them we forgot that they were even providing a service :-).

We loved this apartment, from the thoughtful touches of biscuits and milk on arrival, to the kitchen containing everything you may ever need, making it a home from home experience. The entire apartment is beautifully decorated and kitted out. The kind owners, Ivan and Veronica, were on hand but unobtrusive, the village has a convenient pub and coop store and there is a lovely beach a walkable distance away.
