Cheap and cheerful - 2 nights was enough.

We were given the upstairs and downstairs of the 'beach front' wooden accommodation. The steps were steep and the doors didn't lock correctly. This was unsuitable for our family (2 adults, 2 children - 10 and 4). We moved from the top room to a 'newer' room - this was larger and more comfortable. The WiFi was great and the breakfast was lovely in all fairness. Great price for what we got. The bed was massive which allowed all four of us to sleep in it when my husband and son moved from the wooden accommodation for one of the nights. We stayed 2 nights (2 x families) and it work out at £13 per room (total four rooms) per night with breakfast. When the tide was out you could walk straight to a great place place for food called The Chill.

I don't recommend the wooden 'beach front' huts. The aircon wasn't great, the wooden hut was loud and not fully sealed. The door didn't lock properly. The sun loungers that looked out onto the water could actually do with cushions and a bit of TLC.

Good value for money and right by the sea. The rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly.

There were a lot of maintenance issues such as soon loungers and pool.

The staff is friendly an nice. The location is strategic.

The staff needs more training. We were waiting for the room readiness however we did not get any information if our room has been ready until we came to them. The wifi does not work! Even we gave a room that has wifi however we did not get it! Empty tissue and empty shower gel when we checked in. The TV can not be turned on, it is only like an accessories. The ceiling is leaking when it was heavy rained. The pool is so dirty. Actually we can get cheaper price with this unworking facilities. We hope this review can be used as constructive feedback to improve this property.

The location is quite good. The room is adequate.

The facilities were a little more old and run down than shown in the photos which is to be expected. The pool was very murky. The breakfast wasn't great, but at least they bring it up to your room which is lovely. The staff were almost never around. When I was checking out, there was no one at the desk and I waited for about half an hour before I just left.

One day there was no water at ALL, at 7 in the morning children were singing at a nearby school, a mouse was running around in the room and I was bitten by either bedbugs or fleas.

A pleasant place on the north coast

Ayu Laba Villas were very nice. The room was spacious and the bathroom was huge. Breakfast was good (we had banana pancakes & coffee) There was a very nice warung next door which we ate at every evening. (There were also some smaller ones nearby but not loads to choose from) Most of the beaches on Nusa Penida are broken coral and not the type to laze on. (Our beach was no exception.) The owners/staff organised transportation/tours for us.

It would have been nice to have a white sandy beach but that isn’t the fault of the villa owners. The English spoken wasn’t fantastic but way better than my Indonesian. Taxi from the boat terminal (🤣) was a bit pricey. We paid 25k

The staff was so friendly. The location is perfect next to the beach. and it has big pool and some spots to chill

the room was not clean enough. the SHOWER JET was crazy strong hahaha🤣🙈. and they do have TV but didn’t work at all. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Lovely view from the room and the beds were very comfortable. Mosquito free nets were great and the staff were nice.

The pool area could be a little more maintained as it is a little broken and shabbie. The breakfast was very simple.

Ontbijt. En het personeel is behulpzaam. 2 deuren verderop zat een leuke bar/restaurant met live muziek.
