Residence Argine

Location is perfect for me, with family nearby. The facilities provide me with everything I need. Nice welcome drink to cool you down.

I think the facilities would benefit from some atmosphere in the bar/restaurant eg. some background music playing. This would probably encourage more use but there are places nearby in any case.

Rooms were big

Decor is sparse and felt a bit like a dormitory. Very corporate functional feeling. The entrance to the property is actually accessed through a sister hotel, but this is not mentioned anywhere on booking. When we arrived at night we got to a gate for the apartments and there is no Bell at the gate. We tried to call the number several times and no one answered we hooted and no one came. Eventually we got through on the telephone and they told us to come to the other hotel which was on a different road about 500m away. The lady then gave us the wrong directions, turn tight instead of left, so we went driving off for 5 min in the wrong direction before turning around, making us arrive pretty stressed out. The apartment is nice but has no view of the sea, is in an average area a bit in the middle of nowhere, and feel under decorated and quite basically furnished. Ok for a business stay, but I would want more if I was in a holiday. The apartment cost the same as the one we rented on Eden Island and even the Villa we rented on Praslin, but was no where near as nice. It’s probably 30% overpriced for what it is. But it is clean, safe and a nice size.
