We had a great stay here for 10 days and we thank the family hosting us
Lake Iseo is phenomenal and the apartment has a nice view over the lake. It concerns the top floor of a 3 level building with the owners living in the first 2 floors. The owners are extremely kind and hospitable which made are stay even better. However, they also respect your privacy. The apartment is nice and spacious and Castro is a good location to explore the region. The interior is old fashioned but in a good way and has everything you need to do some cooking. In the summer there are many festivals in the area to experience local food and festivities. It’s located uphill with plenty of parking spots nearby on the street.

Der Ausblick von den beiden Balkonen in Richtung See und Berge ist an dieser Wohnung ist das Beste und tatsächlich bemerkenswert. Am Morgen und am Abend hat man vom recht weit oben am Berg gelegenen Haus ein nahezu ungehindertes Panorama nach Süden und Westen.
Sämtliche Betten waren durchgelegen und hatten alte Matratzen. Zu Waschmaschine und Trockner hatten wir keinen direkten Zugang; die Wäsche musste bei den Eigentümern abgegeben und nach dem Waschen und Trocknen wieder abgeholt werden. In den Ecken der Räume, Schränke und Schubladen fanden wir Staub und Krümel vor. Die Möbel waren größtenteils alt, klapprig und mit schwergängigen Türen. Die Ausstattungsmerkmale Terrasse und Toaster trafen nicht zu.

An Gastfreundschaft kaum zu überbieten
Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich, aufmerksam und ruhig. Außerdem kann man von dem Standort aus sehr gut Aktivitäten wie Wanderungen oder Radtouren starten. Die Wohnung ist gut aufgeteilt und charmant eingerichtet.
