About this cottage rental
One of two beautifully renovated Coastguard Cottages completed in July 2017 to a high standard. Situated within a stones throw of Southbourne Beach with panoramic sea views from all bedrooms.
Each Cottage has 2 double bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has either a king size bed or twin beds, stunning sea and garden views and en-suite shower room.
Bedroom 2 is on the 2nd floor with double bed and stunning panoramic views from Old Harry Rocks to The Needles & Isle of Wright.
There is also a family bathroom with overhead shower.
Downstairs there is a large open plan living area, with large sofabed, dining for 6 and fully integrated kitchen with, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven/hob, microwave & toaster. There is also a utility area with washer/dryer.
The front of the property has beautifully designed gardens which are now fully enclosed, decking with seating, a hot tub and off road parking. The rear of the Cottage has another decked area which catches the evening sun, along with BBQ area, bike storage etc.
The Cottages are a short walk to Hengistbury Head with its visitors centre and land train to Mudeford Spit, a lovely day out for the family. Historic Christchurch is very close by with its Ancient Priory, Castle, river walks, Quay with Quamps Splash Park for the little ones (free), boat & ferry rides and abundance of restaurants, bars & shops.
Southbourne is a short walk away with shops, supermarkets, restaurants & bars. Also we have The New Forest 10 minutes away with its beautiful villages, county pubs, New Forest Ponies and wild donkeys.
Bournemouth Town Centre is a 10 minute drive.
We will provide everything you need for your holiday, from towels & beach towels, to high chairs and travel cots.

The property was lovely. Perfect base for us. Owners were really responsive and super friendly. House was clean and exactly as advertised. New fence in the garden was a welcome addition! Kitchen had everything we needed.Only small thing that let it down is that the sofa and rug really need a good shampoo/clean. The smell of wet dog is over powering, even for a dog owner!

A lovely holiday cottage in a great location. Couldn’t fault it - very clean, tastefully decorated, comfy bed, everything you could possibly need was included.
The garden was ideal for the dog and, with the beach literally across the road and wonderful Hengistbury Head a 10 minute walk away, it was a Godsend.
Damian was very quick to respond to any questions prior to our arrival - check in was simple and wine and delicious local biscuits in the kitchen as a welcome gift.
We didn’t want to leave!

Lovely cosy cottage. Two minutes walk to gorgeous dog friendly sandy beach. Helpful owner. Quiet area. An enjoyable stay, we will certainly book again.
