Beautiful view of meadows!
Near park and water park, within walking distance of the sea (7 mins) with cozy beach bar. Possibility to do walks in the dunes, near the attractive seaside town of De Haan.
The coastal tram (in less than 5 mins walk) takes you to Ostend or Knokke.

Very nice house in an ideal location near de Haan. The house is in a nice rustic environment, but the beach is still within walking distance. All equipment you might need is available. The 3 bedrooms are spacious and beds comfortable. We especially enjoyed the nice terrace and barbecue. We visited in the summer but also believe this house would be very nice in the winter with the lovely living room and fireplace. Leo is a very welcoming and responsive host. We will definitely come back!

We (4 friends in their mid-twenties) went there for the pentecost break and had a lovely time. Equipment for kitchen, garden and fireplace was plenty, the bedrooms were nice and the living room was very comfortable.
We spent our mornings in the garden and most of the days at the beach. The beach is only 10 min walking distance away (~ 800 m, though you have to cross the N34 twice => not recommended to let the kids walk alone) and it is way less crowded than in de Haan itself (not even going to speak of Ostende). If you are lucky you can have the entire beach for yourself :)
Other than that Bruges is only a 25 min drive and definetely worth a visit, weither you are interested in belgian cuisine, old hanseatic buildings or just want to have a decent belgian beer.
We enjoyed our holidays very much so thanks to Leo for letting us stay in his lovely home.
