Hydrangea Villa

We had a wonderful stay. The dinner, especially the chicken curry, and the breakfast were excellent. Special thanks to the cook, Murugeshwari, for the delicious food. The staff, Yuvaraj and Minaj, were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. It is a perfect place for families, and we all had a wonderful time. This stay created a memorable moments for us. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful experience at Hydrangea Villa. The property is spotless, well-maintained, and surprisingly spacious. With 4 bedrooms and multiple living areas, it comfortably housed our group of 10 without anyone feeling crowded. The location is ideal – tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood, yet just a short drive from Kodaikanal Lake and Chettiar Park. The staff and owner were incredibly welcoming and always available to help, whether we needed extra bedding or local sightseeing advice. We especially loved the garden and barbecue setup – perfect for evening hangouts. The home-cooked meals they arranged were delicious and felt just like comfort food. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, homely stay in Kodaikanal!

We booked the Villa for 2 nights and wanted to leave a generous review here in exchange for a beautiful time I had a Hydrangea Villa at Kodaikanal. I can start by saying this was one of the best times of my life staying at Hydrangea. First of all you are at Kodaikanal, and the icing on the cake was this aesthetically developed Villa. 1. Ambience - It's cold and you are sitting indoors next to a fire pit on high chairs with your friends around. If it's cold again you are outside next to the in-built bonfire. The Warmth was the way the intimate arrangements of the house showered upon you once you stepped in. The bedrooms are all uniquely done with no one design repeated in the other. All equally good. My favourite was sipping morning coffee in the bay areas of the first floor. Absolutely mesmerizing. The bathrooms are fully equipped with hot and cold water in showers and washbasins. A blessing when you are experiencing 9 degrees. The way the house is connected on the first floor and Ground floor to many outdoor spillovers it was a treat to see everyone just come in and get out of different spaces making the entire area playful.. Summary - It's Asthetic, Warm, Hygienic, Comfortable and will definitely mesmerize you with beautiful times once you're here. 2. Staff - Minaj the caretaker for our duration of stay made sure we were not kept waiting for any particular requirement. He was polite, Quick and helped us every time we needed him. 3. Food - Try breakfast. Try lunch and dinner. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. It's a match made in heaven when you enjoy delicious warm meals amidst cozy spaces in cold climates. Must try. 4. Location - Close to Kodai Lake, Vattakanal and may other tourist places. If you are short on time and need to visit a place quickly, the location of the villa will offer you a lot of options in convenient distances. Overall.

No toiletries, extra beds provided were very very old and there were no linens, no napkins in bathrooms, no facility for food, not even coffee/ tea, milk or sugar sachets, no proper parking space, comparatively high cost, at least one room is clumsy
