Tweed cottage was fabulous, we stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time
It was cosy and had everything you would need
The location is great, five mins walk to centre of Jedburgh
Hosts were so helpful, all communications clear and easy to understand
Nothing to dislike at all, it was great

Fantastic town for a get away. Culture, food and pubs all top notch. Everyone warm and friendly.
Maybe a little steep to get to the property but nothing to strenuous or it didn't impact our stay at all.

Good facilities and an excellent location for exploring the under rated Scottish Borders. Edinburgh is also easily reached.
The property is on a steep slope with steps leading down from the car park. There are motion sensor lights on these but not all were working and some came on too late. Using the phone torch resolved this.

Parking and Gravel path - plus no niceties from the Hosts. No arrival goodies - no personal messages. It was transactional at best and not the standard we are used to from our stays.

Self-catering cottage, set in a beautiful setting, very peaceful and quiet
The cottage is extremely well equipped and everything in good working order
The car park is a little walk away from the property but it does inform you when booking that it wouldn't be suitable for any persons with mobility issues
I found wee things in the cottage makes it stand out from other similar accommodation,.such as plenty of mirrors, the provision of hair driers, waste bins in the bedrooms and bathroom, even a laundry bin making life easier
The hosts are very helpful and aim to ensure you are looked after and have an enjoyable stay , we had a minor issue when arriving that was sorted within minutes and we really appreciated that.
I didn't sleep well as felt the mattress on the double bed was too hard for me, maybe just a personal choice as other guests have found it comfortable

We received great and very clear instructions ahead of arriving. On arrival the property was warm and welcoming. The location is great and the views from the cottage are stunning. I would definitely stay here again.
The double bed could really use a new mattress, unfortunately it was not comfortable to sleep in.

Well equipped, clean property, convenient for town. Beautiful view over Jedburgh from the cottage.
Arrival in the dark was very difficult - navigating steep steps and a gravel path down to the cottage (hard on the knees), trying to find correct cottage and carrying luggage etc in the dark. More outside light would be very helpful as would have been information about the road closure in Exchange Street.

Lovely well looked after cottage.Stunning view.
Cottage was clean and cosy.
Heating was on at the arrival and lights on ,making it easier to find the right cottage.
We definitely recommend it.

Only small downside were the steep steps down from the car park to the property

Well equipped and great views.
Hairy cushions and quilted grey cover - not been cleaned from previous guests?

Location was outstanding for our purpose. Nice base of operations for the Scottish Borders. Very comfortable couches for a nice rest after a long day.
The beds were very hard and we found the double uncomfortable. The shower has very weak water pressure. While I am not expecting a gourmet kitchen, the gear available was poor.

Welcoming accommodation with all you could need. A great base for exploring Jedburgh and the Scottish Borders.
Path from parking to the cottage requires good mobility

The house was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a Christmas break even a little Christmas tree!
The parking is down a steep slope and is a bit of a trek from the house, down steep dimly lit steps.
The steps up to the house are very slippery in the wet/ice.
also there is no blind in the bathroom, which is viewed from the top car park. These are not complaints, just observations that are not in the advertisement.

The cottage had everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. The views from the front window are spectacular.
The step up to the front door are made of wood and were slippery. The is an observation not a problem for us.

All we could possibly need for our stay, incredibly well equipped. good value for money. Comfortable spacious cottage with far reaching views of the town and hills beyond, lots of steps and hills so not ideal for people with walking difficulties.
Pet friendly, lots of lovely walks, thank you Eunice & Martin we thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely return in the future I would highly recommend this property to any one wishing to visit the Borders region.

only thing was how dark path went at night time but we used torches on our phones

Wonderful views on the very edge of the town, but still with easy access to the centre, only 10 minutes walk away.
We happened to be staying at Tweed cottage as storm Arwen hit, which added some drama, but was no reflection on the property or the location which are delightful ❤
The owners were great and even provided a partial refund.

Fantastic views and close to the town centre. Cottage very comfortable with all you need for a relaxing holiday.
Could have done with a bit of cupboard space for food otherwise it was excellently equipped.
