Wonderful holiday let and a perfect base for exploring the area

This is a superb rental house in a brilliant location right off the Shannon. We stayed here as a base whilst in the location for a family wedding, and it was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space for our dog to run around, great wildlife nearby if you're up early enough to go bird watching and within a 15-minute drive of Carrick-On-Shannon itself. There were plenty of facilities, including two TVs, a good-sized fridge, and a clean bathroom. It really was a great find and even better value for money.

There wasn't anything to dislike really as the property exceeded expectations and the host was friendly. I just wish we'd been down longer so as to be able to head out on the river.

We had a great 2day family get together.

Great location, great views, not too far from the town centre or main road.

The seating in the lounge wasn't big enough for 6 adults. One of the single beds had broken laths and was very uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful time at this holiday house!

It’s incredibly family friendly with a well equipped kitchen and a cozy living area. The outdoor space was a huge hit with the kids and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The host were attentive and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This house felt like a home away from home, and we would highly recommend it for families looking to unwind and create lasting memories together. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Lovely home and great homely kitchen . Great space.

Out of everyone's control, sadly it rained a lot and curtailed our urge to walk. But we enjoyed sitting in a lovely house just reading and relaxing.

Hundefreundliches Haus

Das Haus hat eine super Lage am Wasser. Wer will.kann sich von der Vermieterin Kajaks ausleihen. Nach Carrick in Shannon sind es weniger Kilometer. Das Haus ist super sauber, die Betten bequem. Für Hunde ist das Gelände ideal. Der Kontakt zu Rachel lief problemlos über die App.

Schönes ruhiges Haus für Familien

Wir hätten gedacht, dass man besser spazieren gehen kann, aber es gibt eigentlich nur einen Hauptweg. Dafür ist aber das Grundstück sehr schön. Es gibt einen tollen Steg mit Fischen und anderen Tieren und viele Beschäftigten wie Minigolf, Trampolin und Kletterturm mit Schaukel und Rutsche. Auf der Terrasse kann man schön sitzen, wenn es nicht gerade regnet und sehr windig ist. Es gibt wohl auch eine Feuerstelle und einige Hängematten. Auf der Wiese um das Haus sind tolle, teils sehr seltene Blumen. Man kann bei den Besitzern Kayaks leihen. Es gibt viel Platz zum kostenfreien Parken. Die Gegend ist sehr schön, wenn man etwas mit dem Auto rausfährt. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Doppelbetten sind sehr weich und die Einzelbetten eher sehr hart…aber jeder schläft ja gern anders am liebsten. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und die Kommunikation hat gut geklappt. Wir waren fünf Personen und können diese Wohnung für Familien mit Kindern sehr empfehlen.

Der Fußboden war etwas zu kalt für unseren Geschmack. Wer schnell kalte Füße bekommt sollte Hausschuhe oder dicke Socken mitbringen.
