Nils is very outgoing and engaging. He makes the space extremely comfortable. The decor is charming, light, and coastal and while the weather was not ideal, the indoors were comfortable and enjoyable as well. He is expanding the outdoor space and garden making small gathering spaces throughout. His home was easily accessible and a good base to explore many beautiful and quiet beaches in the area as well as day trips to Lagos, the Western coast. His restaurant recommendation were delicious. If you book we highly recommend the pizza point and the Portuguese restaurant walking distance from the house. We were both remote working and able to set up in the dining room without getting in the way of the other guests in the house. The interent was a bit slow, but the hotspot with the phone worked great. His kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots, pans.... and lovely dishes from the ceramic shop across the street. We really enjoyed our time there and happy we extended and would certainly recommend for other travelers.

Warning to other people, when turning out from his street to the main road, you can only turn right. DO NOT TURN RIGHT THEN LEFT into the ceramic shop. Drive 1.5 km and turn around at the roundabout. I got hit with an expensive traffic fine and the police set up there in the parking lot for crossing a double line. I watched six other vehicles also get the same fine while I was waiting for my ticket to process. Additional pillows would have been nice.

This place is magical! Super cool owner, quite place, amazing atmosphere... We didn't want to leave this place!
