Corymbia Cottage Brokes Secluded Escape for max 4

No internet reception maybe not for everyone but we liked it. My husband was impressed with the architecture design of the mud house. I loved the fire place.

- The cold water tap for the bathroom basin is difficult to tighten completely, resulting in a small leak. - The lock on the window is broken. - Upon check-in on our first night, we noticed some stains on the bed linen. This did not impact our stay as we brought our own linens.

I liked the remoteness of the property. It was super quiet at nights. Beautiful surroundings.

It was all great.

The location was lovely and peaceful and the house was a lovely design

The thing we found disappointing was that it advertises open fire but when we go there there was no chopped wood and the wood that could be chopped had been sitting in the rain so was wet and unuseable. Even if the wood was useable there was no axe to chop it. There was a heat pump in the upstairs bedroom but it didn't work. Luckily (as it was very cold) my partner found a way and we scrounged around and were able to make a bit of a fire for warmth. The next day we got some of the wood and put it in the sun to try and dry it for that night. There was a room inside the house where the washing machine was and maybe an axe and other features that it mentioned it had (like fishing lines etc) but it was locked and we couldn't access it.

Location. Quiet. Away from the road.

It’s not a 2 bedroom house. It has 2 beds; one on an open mezzanine and the other below the mezzanine. No privacy. No doors and no curtains.
