Good cheap room, you get what you pay for

The hotel was in a decent location, about a 20 minute walk to anything thats open in October. But it is about a 5 min walk to the public beach just down the road. The room was large enough and had a queen and single bed (perfect for my friend and I). It also had cold AC a definite plus. The balcony was a nice little addition, although we booked a sea view room, our view of the sea was off to the side and nothing like the photos in the listing. Parking was nice and easy on the opposite side of the hotel.

Check-in was easy enough, but the address sends you to a seperate hotel which is connected to Mira Mare. They helped us find the right reception desk. Parking was fine behind the hotel, but if you approach from the front there is a steep hill which our rental car couldn't climb. It basically stalled out a few yards up the hill and wouldn't continue. The room was spacious, but our shower was moldy in the crevices, there was hair on the sheets, and there was a window in the bathroom that opened right into the shared hallway, so we couldn't keep it open when using the bathroom and there was no other exhaust system. There also was not any sort of bath mat for the shower so the bathroom floor got completely soaked and slippery after a shower. The beds were very firm and tough to sleep on for 2 side sleepers like us. Breakfast was mediocre at best, everything was colorless and flavorless and fried. They did provide some limited fresh fruit as well. Breakfast was served from 8-10 and when we arrived at 9am, everything was cold or all gone. It seemed like nothing was being refreshed or kept warm throughout Breakfast service. Overall, the listing photos did not match our experience and we were definitely a little disappointed.

Short walk to the beach, nice pool and great breakfast

Great views from breakfast and yum breakfast with lots of choices. Cool looking pool but the weather wasn’t the best when we went and we didn’t have enough time to use but looks perfect for the summer. We swam in the sea instead a short 10 min walk away. Basic feel to the room but perfect distance to the sea for Ksamil. Ramp up to the car park can be very sketchy in the wet but good that there is a car park. Could easily stay for a relaxing beach holiday here for a week in the sun in the summer so perfect for that.

Very slippy floor in the shower which I fell over in. No tea or coffee in the room and view from the room was worse than advertised as can see the sea and beach but in front of that is a half finished building and a lot of building in the way ruining the view.

Worth for sunrise and the beach nearby

The hospitality of the staff was lovely. The warm welcome, very helpful and very sweet people. The breakfast was very good with a nice view. 5 to 10 minutes walk to a small beach. If you are on the 3rd or 2nd floor, you get a view of beautiful sunrise. And the balcony was a plus for the stay.

1. The rooms were not worth the money paid. The doors were old. Sewer smell from bathroom. The switches in the bathroom were broken. The light behind the mirror had a loose connection. So it only turns on when the broken switch is pressed. The bathroom is small and doesn't have a curtain due to which most of the bathroom gets wet while shower. 2. Parking is very stressful. Driving through a steep slope, we have to park the car very very carefully so thay it shouldn't cause inconvenience to us or other tourists. The distance between the cars after parked is very close which creates very difficult to get out of the car.

The spa in the room did not get hot and flooded the floor. Our room was next to the stairs, both nights the noise from guests returning late and continuing to party in their room kept us awake.

The girl at the reception was very sweet, and the cleaning staff tried their best, but it doesn’t fix the situation.

This is not a hotel, it’s a hostel priced like a four-star hotel! Terrible! We chose this place based on reviews, but it turned out people don’t write honest reviews — the manager asks guests to delete negative ones. We were checked in an hour late, there was no key to the room, and the wardrobe was full of someone else’s clothes! The doors, bathroom, and everything else are in desperate need of repair and maintenance! The swing on the balcony is unsafe for children, there’s mold on the fabric, and exposed wires. The room has a window facing the corridor, which lights up with a bright light every time someone walks by at night (see photos). There is no real breakfast — it looks like food that someone already ate before you! The plates are chipped. We didn’t allow our children to eat from such dishes or consume such terrible food! We only ate watermelon and a boiled egg (compare that to the price of the hotel and the claimed “excellent breakfast”). This is fraud! A complaint has been submitted to Booking.com, but the hotel refused to cancel the reservation. Look at the real photos before ruining your vacation!

Good facility

It's within walking distance to one of the best beaches in Ksamil. Great staff. Comfortable beds and clean room. Good breakfast. Two seperate garage facilities for up to 10-12 vehicles.

The swimming pool that you share with the neighbouring Adjen Hotel (also run by Mira Mare) is small. There is a steep upward slope at the main entrance of the hotel so if you haven't rent a car, you need to climb it up. There is an alternative less sloopy road but it takes relatively longer to walk. There are a few things they can do better with the breakfast. The fruit juices they serve is of low concentration. It tastes more like water. They can provide a variety of herbal teas. And a better quality cheddar cheese. The rest with the breakfast is just fine. Expect a partial sea view from the balcony only. Or else for a better view, try to book a room with numbers ending with 5.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel! We were welcomed with a warm smile — the staff were very polite and friendly. I especially want to mention the administrator — such a pleasant person, always ready to help. The owner of the hotel is also amazing — very kind, sincere, and easy to talk to. It’s clear that he truly cares about the comfort of his guests. The room was clean and tidy, with fresh bed linen and towels. Housekeeping was done regularly, and everything we needed was provided. The service was excellent. Thank you so much for the hospitality! I will definitely come back again.😍😍😍

What didn’t I like? The only thing I didn’t like was having to leave this place! 😀 It would be great to have a washing machine available — it’s really convenient, especially when traveling with small children.

great views

Super friendly stuff! We got there a bit early and they were so nice that let us do the check-in early. Room is nice, with small balcony, where you can see the whole down. There is a good size pool, but to get there it's a bit tricky, because you have to go through the building next door. But it was nothing too complicated. On the top floor, there is a bar/breakfast place with amazing view. Unfortunately they do not serve dinner there. But there is a very nice family food place right next to the hotel, where you can get delicious food with great price! Beach is near and so are small shops. Walking distance from the main area

The way to hotel is up from very steep and narrow rise, which may scare a little, but when you get up there, it is worth it :)

Amazing stay!

We like our short and nice stay in this property as the staff are accommodating. Kristy showed us to our room and is approachable too. When we are about to eat dinner and it was raining hard, his brother drive us to the best restaurant without any cost and Kristy picked us up after. Also, our clothes were wet from the rain, they dried it in their laundry area without charging us. They are very friendly and would recommend Mira Mare.

Basic but will do the trick

The hotel is clean and very new. Our room was big with a kitchen an decent size balcony.

The hotel is new but cheaply built. It's ok now while it's fresh but it won't last. Huge steep hill to get to the entrance. Location is close to nice beaches (Puerto Rico Beach, Lori Beach, Paradise Beach) and a small shop with essentials is down the road. But besides that it's kinda underwhelming. The whole area is still growing so there's lots of abandoned empty lots and construction sites. There's no side walks, no street lights and it's quite a upward walk to the center of town. After a couple days we got used to it and it was fine. So if you adjust your expectations and focus on the beaches and the center, it'll be a nice experience. The center and the other side of Ksamil is much better, many shops, restaurants, cafés, more beaches and beach clubs and even some sidewalks! But of course that's more expensive. So if you're not looking for luxury and just want a basic hotel in Ksamil, go for this one! Just adjust your expectations and be prepared to walk. Staff was mostly rude. This is normal for Ksamil though. There was 1 guy at reception that was actually pleasant, but the girls in the breakfast terrace were not. Breakfast was nice, nothing out of the ordinary but nothing missing either. Could definitely be better. View - there is no view from the rooms. Ironical given the name of the hotel, but there's a side sea view at least. The terrace has a front sea view, but the water is quite far away. So don't stay here if what you want is a nice sea view. We didn't use the pool, it was in the next door hotel, connected by a little bridge.

the hotel exceeded our expectations, we got a room in the new part of the facility at no extra charge. the view from the terrace is amazing, there is a large parking lot available. tasty breakfasts, everyone will find something for themselves. There is a swimming pool available, but we didn't use it because the beach is very close. the room was beautiful, clean and cleaned every day. friendly and helpful staff. We would come back again.

Everything, the view, breakfast was changed every day, payment by card (not so easy in Albania), helped park the car as it was steep - a different approach was shown later, quite close to the beaches and in the quieter side, staff was quite friendly with information and proactive about it, pool was small but refreshing, kitchen is available and enough if you need. Filtered water available. Oh yea, and did I say the view. 😀

If you come walking back after 11, the last 500m or so is a bit lonely with stray dogs but not the hotel‘s fault. Bath area is a bit small so water can spread so be smart about it and it’ll be fine. The walls are thin - 4 girls staying next room came back at 4 am after party and made a bit of ruckus and loud talking:

Charming hotel with amazing staff

The staff was super friendly, especially the owners. The rooftop terrace where the breakfast was served was very nice and the food was good. The hotel lent us beach towels and beach umbrellas, which was very convenient. There was parking.

Hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming, supporting us with everything we needed and always smiling. Breakfast was very good and varied, and most important coffee was very good (I am highlighting this because I've read other reviews about coffee saying it was bad, but I think they referred to the filter coffee, BUT you could ask them for an expresso and they would prepare it for you and that was one of the best I ever drank, very intense, I am a coffee addict). Also there is Paradise beach 5 min walking from the hotel, a very good beach and the only 1 in Ksamil where you could seat directly on the sand if you'd prefer, or you can buy 2 beds +umbrela for 15 eur, or the most comfortable beds on the most fancy beach lounge I saw in Ksamil for 30 eur. Thank you for a perfect 7 nights sejur!

Is not that I really didn't like it, because it helped me get back in shape :), but there's a steep road to climb to the hotel, so for the ones with bad physical condition it might be a challenge to get there. For us, it was perfect. :))

Beautiful location and nice staff

Hotel is in good location near Paradise Beach and has its’ own parking lot. Beautiful view from balcony and terrace on top of the building. Staff spoke good English and were very nice!

Hotel is little outdated and rooms could be cleaned and maintained better (i.e. stains on couch and duck-taped balcony furniture)
