About this villa rental
Las Casas Cuevas, offer a unique and different experience of peace and tranquillity to be enjoyed with family and friends.
Las Casas Cuevas is situated in the rural village of Los Curas, Ramonete, close to the famous beaches of the Puntas de Calnegre, cabo cope belonging to the historic city of Lorca.
To reach Las Casas Cuevas it is necessary to turn off the main road and to travel down a truly "campo camino" dirt track of approximately 1 kilometre. On reaching this destination you will realise the beauty, privacy, and sheer enjoyment a vacation here can hold.
Las Casas Cuevas consists of three individual cave houses, which are connected by a large 50sqm lounge at the front and have been beautifully restored, sleeping up to 8 people.
The caves remain at a constant temperature of around 18 degrees, cool in the summer, warm in the winter.
They are full of character with a unique ambience of tranquillity, decorated in a traditional, simple Spanish style.
There is a one bedroomed cave, with a double bed and lounge, sleeping two people.
A second cave with a double bed and lounge sleeping two people.
A third cave with two bedrooms one with two single beds, and another with a double bed and a window veiw, sleeping four people.
Each of the caves also have there own lounge areas.
Las Casas Cuevas are linked at the front by a large 50sqm lounge/dining area with log burner, a fully fitted kitchen, and three toilets /shower rooms.
Outside Las Casas Cuevas, is a 20sqm covered pergola with a large dinning table, seating up to twelve plus people. The area is surrounded by olive trees and plants. PLEASE RESPECT NATURE.
To the right of the cave houses is a gated patio area, with a 8X4sqm kidney shaped swimming pool.
(remove all suncream before entering)
The area also contains further seating areas.
Places to sun bath and relax. There are also outside cooking facilities - BBQ.
(please leave the BBQ area clean after use)
Beyond this is another covered pergola offering shade of 40sqm. This area also offers distant views of the beaches at the Puntas de Calnegre.
All the outside areas have been built with recycled, reclaimed materials where ever possible, and it is our goal to make Las Casas Cuevas as eco friendly as possible.
(recycling is incouraged at all times)
Set in a wonderful idyllic, very rural, tranquil location on the Costa Calida, Las Casa Cuevas offers and ideal environment for a relaxing holiday, but there are plenty of things to see and do.

Las casas cuevas are the perfect place to relax and get away from today's stressful life.
There is NO WIFI and very little mobile coverage.
Fiestas, parties, unsociable behaviour, drunkenness, loud music.

Lorca coastline Puntas de Calnegre, Parque regional Cabo Cope.
The property owner Michael, will greet you when you arrive, answer your questions and help in anyway possible. Las Casas Cuevas is in the village of Ramonete, which has a medical centre, local shops and bars.
2 km away is the unspoilt natural coastline, with the beautiful beaches of Puntas de Calnegre and Playa Calnegre. here you well find further bars and restaurants literally on the beach.
The historic city of Lorca is a 30 minute drive away, also the Lorca beachside town of Aguilas.
Mazarron town, port and the beautiful fishing village of Bolnuevo are 20 minuate drive away.
We ask our guests to help us maintain the high level of cleanliness when here, for all
Arrival time: you will be able to occupy the Retreat after 3 pm on day of arrival
Departure time: you will need to depart the Retreat by 10.00 am on day of departure

Prices quoted are for rental of the retreat on a self catering basis and include all bed linen, towels, gas for water heater and cooker, electricity and domestic water.

electricity is of solar power supply, please speak to the owner if you wish to bring high powered electrical items as the system does not support this type of electrical/electronic equipment.
We are dog friendly.
Non smoking inside the caves, but you can smoke outside and around the patio areas.

El propietario muy amable y siempre disponible para cualquier duda. Las casas cuevas tienen buen espacio aunque hace mucho calor ( puede ser las fechas) en pleno agosto. La mesa de afuera espectacular para la familia pasábamos la noche afuera. La cocina de las más equipadas donde hemos ido, le falta un congelador o un frigorífico más, O uno más grande. Si quieren escuchar música recomiendo llevar un pen o música descargada en el móvil porque no hay cobertura; la zona de la piscina la pasamos bien sobretodo los niños, aunque le falta mantenimiento alrededor. Hay un supermercado cerca por si falta algo. En conclusión no está mal el lugar aunque con algunas mejoras. Si lleváis mascotas protegerlas de los bichos. Porque se meten gatos y perros de los vecinos aunque se cierre el portón.

Cuando llegamos nos recibieron y nos invitaron a pasar, un chalet grande y bonito por fuera, posteriormente pasamos a la parte interior a dejar las maletas y nos sorprendió para bien. Todo el transcurso de la reserva no tuvimos ningun problema relacionado con el propio chalet así que cumplió su función al 100%. Al finalizar llegaron Michael y su mujer y nos dieron las gracias y se mostraron muy agradecidos con nosotros. Excelente tanto el chalet como sus dueños. Gracias por todo.

Fuimos mi grupo de amigos y yo y fue una experiencia inolvidable, muy recomendada para ir con tu grupo de amigos o incluso con la familia. Los unicos peros que tenemos esque dentro de la casa no hay cobertura, hay que salirse fuera de la casa a pillar cobertura y otra esque hay que tirar el papel del baño a la basura pero por lo demas todo perfecto. Y agradecer a Michael por su amabilidad y profesionalidad
