About this house rental
Take a break in this charming cottage quiet and comfortable. Recently renovated with taste, you will find the peaceful life of the small Jura mountains with beautiful scenery, close to Lake Vouglans and its wild and preserved nature.
This 120m² detached stone house completely renovated is situated in a small hamlet very quiet. On the ground floor, living room with decorative bread oven, living room with wood burning stove, flat TV, fully equipped kitchen, utility room and wc.
Upstairs, a bedroom with a double bed 140x200, a bedroom with 2 bunk beds and 1 single, bathroom with toilet.
Garden furniture and barbecue await you outside.
The sunny garden is bounded by hedges part-wild overlooking a landscape of green mountains , but as in a park, nothing is closed to give perspective.
Lake Vouglans walking distance (2km) by an unfrequented path, enchants for its wildness and unspoiled nature. Those who prefer the beach, water skiing or rent a canoe will only have 7km to go to reach the nautical base. On site you will also walk in the bed of the river , still very fun. For hikers, join the GR Tour Lake that passes through the village or walk down to the lake to see the monumental porch of the Monastery de Vaucluse, whose remains are drowned into the lake.

A charming and comfortable house with a spacious garden and lovely views. The surroundings are ideal for long walks and the nearby Vouglans lake is splendid.

The house was as described, situated on a very quiet road, large grounds around the house. The arrival arrangements are a bit difficult, because the lady who is supposed to meet you with the key lives 30 minutes away. She doesn't speak English at all, although we were able to communicate with the owner in English. The large house was rather clean, but dust and spider webs were present at many high places. The house is very well equipped, including a washing machine and a freezer, but keep in mind that there is no internet available and that a supermarket is at least 15 minutes away by car.
There are lots of suggestions for great trips, presented by the owners themselves and in brochures. Lac de Vouglan is very nice and close by. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend the house to others.
