The location is good and the apartment was clean.

The bed in the bedroom had a broken mattress that made it impossible have a good sleep. The roof was leaking during rain. This wasn't an enjoyable stay. (See photos) The outside space is not clean due to dog excrements and is in dire condition. The ladder to the pool is a major safety issue due to improper mounting. There are other objects like cut wires and rusted metal that don't make it safe for families. The apartment is cluttered with a lot of junk. In a small space there are 14 chairs, multiple dozens of cups and glasses, and other unusable objects. We would have left immediately but decided to stay to avoid putting our children through additional stress with a change. As a long term booking.com customer, I am surprised that such a place is listed at all. As cherry on top, the host asked for 50 Euro cleaning fee upon departure (we kindly refused to pay).

A wonderful gem in Provence - a very peaceful, charming property

I lived in Provence for a while so I know the region and the climate quite well. I came back to visit family, revisit some of the beautiful towns and villages in Provence and to relax. This was the perfect place to unwind - a real little gem in Provence. Monique, who owns the property along with her husband, really made our stay so enjoyable. She was always on hand to help and give advice about the region and places to visit. Monique has good knowledge of the region - she is a true provencale lady. She really provided everything we could possibly need for our stay and made us feel so welcome. The property is very well maintained with nice gardens, making a perfect, tranquil setting for relaxing and unwinding. We found that the beautifully clean pool offered a lovely way to cool off after visiting the sights and surrounding towns and villages. - the house is very well located for sightseeing. Lounging on the sunbeds, with only the sound of cicadas,,was also a great way to unwind The property is also only a short walk into Beddarides centre where there are some shops as well as restaurants and bars that overlook the river. We had a wonderful holiday at this property and couldn't believe how much the outside area and the appartment had to offer. From the large pool, the well equipped outside kitchen, the lovely shady eating area to the lovely compact air conditioned apartment with a very comfy bed.. Everything you need is there, including the most charming welcome from the owners. I would highly recommend this property if you want to relax and take in some of the sights in Provence. The owners have created a lovely haven in Provence. A real gem !

We enjoyed our stay and could not find fault with this property. I particularly wanted peace and quiet and I got exactly that. I also wanted the use of a pool and we had the pool to ourselves..I wanted to be close enough to walk to a town and once again I got exactly that.
