Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und liegt in einem für die Gegend typischen Ortsteil von Marone. Autofahren geht vielfach nur im Schritttempo (oder langsamer), weil oftmals nur wenige Zentimeter Platz zwischen Hauswand und Rückspiegeln war.

Von den Angaben für die Lage und Ausstattung der Wohnung und der Realität gab es einige Differenzen, wie beispielsweise der nicht vorhandene Flachbildschirm bzw. Fernseher überhaupt. Die Kaffeemachine "bestand" aus einem alten Wasserkocher und einer Thermoskanne. Ein Filterbecher für den Kaffeefilter war nicht auffindbar. Der versprochene Meerblick beschränkte sich auf einen kleinen Ausschnitt. Die Sicherheit der Gäste wurde nicht sonderlich ernst genommen, weil der Türbeschlag abgebrochen war. Ohne dass man die Türe mit dem Schlüssel abschloss, blieb diese nicht verschlossen. Wir fragen uns, ob Booking sich die Unterkünfte, für welche sie werben, auch einmal ansieht und die Angaben vergleicht oder sich nur auf die Rezessionen verlässt? Was wir gelernt haben: Besonders bei Vorauszahlung: Wohnung genau begutachten! Ob die positiven Bewertungen wirklich von Gästen gemacht wurden?
