About this house rental
The villa is placed right at the centre of the village of Giurdignano, in the Otranto area.The villa can accommodate up to 8 people (with 3 bedrooms). Part of the charm of this house is the construction that reflects Salento's style, using all local stone and material. It has a loft style living room with a fire place and a big table that can sit 10. There are 3 bedrooms located on two floors with 2 bathrooms. In the dining room there is also a sofa bed for 2 people.There is also a fully equipped kitchen.
The courtyard is equipped with a table that seats 6, for outside meals and a BBQ. This area has beautiful orange and lemon trees that keep the shade during the summer nights.
The position of the house gives all guests the possibility to meet the local people, always very warm with foreigners.
Also, although this part of Italy is very quiet, it is good to know that the location of the house offers its guests a very secure environment. The summer nights are normally cool and dry, full of pleasant scents. The silence of the place is quite impressive even on the busiest August nights.

Casa Daroda is a wonderful property in the oldest part of Salento. The house has maintained the structure of the old houses of the ancient area, keeping the charme and secluded atmosphere of those times thus equipped with all the necessary facilities to enjoy a comfortable staying.
Rooms are not very big as the bathrooms but they really have all you need in terms of furniture and useful space.
Even if it was late December and the weather was not too generous, we could appreciate the unique comfort of hot ambient without suffering from the freezing cold temperatures outside.
Dogs are welcome and this is worth a full star rate!!!
The assistance in loco, kindly provided by Daniela, was rapid and efficient, attentive and warm like all the people in Apulia.
The owner has been very kind and accommodating so truly something rare to find.
We really recommend a holiday here even to profit of all the beautiful attractions in the area (better in the summertime but very fascinating even in the winter season).
We will soon come back.
