Exorbitant town council demanded fees for parking in the town. €30 plus per 24 hour.

Clean apartment, nice owners, very close to the beach and restaurants.

Such a great location for a couple of nights in Lloret de Mar. Only a short walk to the beach, shops, stores, and great restaurants. Breakfast was freshly brought out when you arrive at your designated table, and nothing is too much trouble for the staff, such as getting extra food, coffee, or juice. We expected to have to set up the sofa beds each night but they had added two extra "cot" type beds for my teens so the couches were still able to be used. This made it a little squishy, but as this wasn't expected, I found this very considerate. Each day our rubbish was collected, towels changed and beds made. Again, another pleasant surprise. The roof terrace is great to get some fresh air and relax, as the rooms do not have a balcony.

I will start by staying, we did not bring our issues to the attention of the staff as we aren't fussy travellers as long as everything is clean - and it was. The air conditioner works amazingly but is in the main bedroom only, and you need to empty a plastic bottle yourself as it will fill with water as the aircon is on. The other room has a fan only, which only circulates the warm air, but the knob was broken so it was difficult to turn on. The room has a kitchentte with microwave, fridge, and cooktop. But not enough cutlery for meals - no knives at all, no wine glasses and no plug for the sink to then do your dishes. (we come prepared with all our own stuff so not a worry, but if you are not on a road trip then that is probably not an option). Also, there is no kettle - but we have found this is normal for Spain. The bathroom is muggy and stuffy and the shower leaks but plenty of towels are provided to ensure the floor doesn't flood. Lastly, the power card pops out ALOT, so we all electricty would cut out, we would need to wait up to 1 minute, to then get it working again. Frustrating if you are in the bathroom as there is no other light source. In the height of summer in a popular area, this is a bargain but you do get what you pay for. With a little TLC and an upgrade, this place would be amazing.
