The room was excellent and the hot tube was amazing , we had all the facilities we needed and the staff couldn’t be more

The room was huge , clean and very well equipped

The only fault I could find was that there wasn’t a bin anywhere in the room so we had to use the bin from the toilet , but it is a very minor gripe

We have stayed here before and found it very pleasant, so an unfortunate experience.

Just bad luck that we were next door to a couple who were talking/arguing loudly until 4am (the walls are extremely thin), then from6.45am, their alarms went off repeatedly and were ignored. Got up to no hot water and no central heating (but there was a small electric heater in a cupboard), so couldn’t shower. Phoned and sent messages, but no reply. Extremely cold morning - car covered in ice.

It was a pleasant stay, needs some minor improvements and better communication

It was what we needed, we were in the wood store, it was a great location, parking was very good and just round the corner from a little pub, the hot tub was excellent.

Bed was very low and the mattress had a hill in the middle probably from the bed, the walls were thin, we could hear next doors conversations and tv pretty well, not good as they stayed up all night talking, no bottled water in the room, no extractor fan in bathroom, also the shower was leaking on the hose quiet bad, and rail was lose. Also communication wasn’t great it took a follow up message, I also asked for late check out, that was ok for £10 per hour, but was knocked up by the two cleaners who where a bit rude, when I explained I had till 12pm they said no you haven’t, would of been better if they would of said I’m sorry we haven’t been informed we will check, instead I was stood in the door half naked -2 deg explaining myself for 5mins 🫣 £153

Lovely location, Room very spacious , warm and very clean. Bed and bedding very comfortable.

Only issue was hot tub seemed to lack power. Could have done with few extra kitchen untensils.

Clean and convenient. Good for an overnight stay.

Very clean and tidy and perfect for a budget overnight stay. Simple decor, recently equiped, tiled floors, electric heaters. Layout of room is functional but a bit haphazard (wardrobe in front of window). Good parking. Walking distance from the Fox Covert pub which is family run and serves good simple plentiful no-nonsense pub food.

Rooms are in an outbuilding and open directly onto the owner's drive. Self serve checkin/out via keybox. No access to the Mill which is the owner's private house. No breakfast available though the nearby pub does serve breakfast and there are also good options in Yarm High Street. Overall it worked perfectly for us and will stay again.

I advised the host i would be arriving at 6pm. Our booking instructions were that we'd be given the key lock box code prior to arrival. We arrived around 6.20pm and I hadn't recieved the code. I tried both mobile numbers and the landline and either got a voicemail or after a good few attempts, the number stopped calling out. I panic texted both mobile numbers as we had a 30th party to get to and didn't want to leave checking in till we were back (as who knows when our evening would be finished). I got a call back at 6.45pm with our code and we were finally in the room. But yes, this was made more stressful than it needed to be but at least we got in.

Very comfortable quiet stay, easy check was left to it, good facilities in the apartment and the private jacuzzi was bliss, the cleanest jacuzzi I have ever been in! And lovey and hot and private. Will deffo be back.

Email with entry code arrived whilst I was travelling to the hotel so no chance th read it before I arrived. Lock boxes lit from the side and very difficult to read the numbers. Lock boxed very hard to open. It took about half an hour to get in. The tiled floors very cold in winter - another mat by the bed would be appreciated.

Nice little lodge on lovely premises, great value for money, and friendly staff

We arrived early and they had literally just finished cleaning it, so luckily the keys were in the door, and they allowed us to check in early, which was very kind of them 🙂

Shower head would automatically swivel to the left as soon as the water pressure went through the hose. (We stayed in The Barn)

Tranquil gem!

What an absolute gem of a find! We stayed in the toot suite for the weekend and loved it! Lovely room, perfect facilities, hottub opposite, pub within 5 mins walk. An also an owner that couldn't do enough for us. The setting was absolutely tranquil! We will definitely book it again!
